| Anyone else having any problems with Battleworks.net? Placed and paid for an order back in October with him. Got one email from him in early November but he has been dodging all emails and calls since then. It is a smaller order so not a huge loss, but I would never do business with him again.
On a brighter note, when can we expect some new mini previews? I am getting bored already. Work is well, work, without some previews once in a while. | | 270+ Trades Completed (194 maxminis | 50 wizards | 29 hordelings) References: http://www.maxminis.com/Forums/tabid/104/view/topic/forumid/53/postid/435268/Default.aspx H/W List: http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=gausse Bad Trades: Chaotic Good (Strongbow Lone Eagle), dndonuts, Allard, ScottWallace Email: gausse2@yahoo.com

Yep, I called the business number from the website. It was an answering machine. Left my name and number but he never returned the call. Still no contact to date.
I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this store based on my experience. Not responding to emails or calls is a big sign of a business in trouble.

| | Still no contact from Battleworks.net on this order that is over 4 months overdue now. I would not order or preorder anything from him based on this! Guess his earlier reply on the thread was just for show, or worse case an attempt to rip off a few more people with the new set coming up. | Well, It seems I'm not the only one... unfortunetely I made a $300 purchase from Battleworks and I'ts been almost a month and they've dodged almost every email I've sent asking if something was wrong. It seems the only email they send on time is the one confirming the purchase and then forget about the customer altogether. I then sent another email asking if there was something wrong and after 10 days he replied saying he was having trouble with my the adress, but that was just another lame excuse to buy some time. After another week without any kind of feedback I asked for a full reemburse but guess what? Haven't heard a thing from them yet...
Avoid Battleworks at all costs!!! They take your money, don't send any minis, and the customer service is a disgrace to the community.
After I googled "Battleworks" I found this thread and this one as well:
http://www.maxminis.com/Forums/tabid/104/forumid/54/postid/744270/view/topic/Default.aspx
So there you go... It appears these guys are doing this kind of thing for a long time. It's a shame I didn't look the company up before placing my order.
If bw is reading this, I would like to know the following: 1) why do you treat your customers like this? 2) Why did it take 10 days for you to reply one of my first emails? 3) It's undeniable that you provide a service of poor quality with all these complaints throughout the internet and all... what's your excuse this time? In the other thread you said your nephew or your son was the one charged with responding the emails. If that's the case, you really should consider letting the kid go.
So, if you are reading this, please send my money back because I'm really not in the mood of taking legal action against you and your "store".

| While I'm perfectly willing to let people air their grievances, contacting the customer service branch of said company is really the place to take specific questions about their business practices. That or the Better Business Bureau.

| Just opened a claim against Battleworks at PayPal. This way they investigate a problem in a transaction and can request a refund from the seller... he isn't answering my emails, but let's see if he answers PayPal's now that it's in their hands now.
Wish me luck. | | | |

| I love how anyone can make a dummy account and make personal attacks with only 6 post and the mod's just let it go...
When some one orders and uses a paying address & name that doesn't match the ship to name and address, then We have to make sure it's not fraud, especially if the address are from different countries, and that one of the countries is Brazil. In which the USPS will not let you ship any insured packages to because of the fraud.
I put the order on hold and contacted PayPal to investigate the matter. They took the money out of my account and have been working to make sure it's not fraud. They will refund you.
1) Why do you treat your customers like this? I don't, I only take precautions when an order looks fraudulent.
2) Why did it take 10 days for you to reply one of my first emails? I was letting PayPal take care of it.
3) It's undeniable that you provide a service of poor quality with all these complaints throughout the internet and all... what's your excuse this time? In the other thread you said your nephew or your son was the one charged with responding the emails. If that's the case, you really should consider letting the kid go.
WTH? What are you talking about. Nice attack on my family.. I never said either one. MODS you let this go on?

| “I love how anyone can make a dummy account and make personal attacks with only 6 post and the mod's just let it go...“
Oh, please! Stop making yourself the victim here when you obviously run scams for a living. Everybody has seen several users complaining about you and you always come up with a lame excuse. Very professional of you. Keep this up...
“When some one orders and uses a paying address & name that doesn't match the ship to name and address, then We have to make sure it's not fraud, especially if the address are from different countries, and that one of the countries is Brazil. Wow... I sent you a billing adress (in Brazil) and a shipping adress (my cousin’s adress in the USA), was that so difficult to understand?
“I put the order on hold and contacted PayPal to investigate the matter. They took the money out of my account and have been working to make sure it's not fraud. They will refund you.“
I Just got the refund today, not thanks to you, if I may add. I opened claims against you in the BBB, PayPal and Yahoo. I will notify them that you payed me but WILL NOT close the claims because I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. So, if you lose your Yahoo support or something similar I think that’s a win for all the people that could be scammed by you in the future.
I payed you via PayPal and you had more than a month to answer my dozens of emails but you chose to remain in silence (I guess you were too busy spending my money). You read my emails so it must have been clear to you that I was really troubled by all of this, couldn’t you have answered at least one of them to let me know this little story you just told? By the way, I dont’t buy it... you’re full of empty excuses.
“1) Why do you treat your customers like this? I don't, I only take precautions when an order looks fraudulent.“
Be a professional and give a little feedback to your customers now and again.
“2) Why did it take 10 days for you to reply one of my first emails? I was letting PayPal take care of it.“
Yeah, yeah... don't you think it's strange the fact that I opened a claim against you in PayPal a week ago and nobody told me anything about this? I'd like to see any kind of proof of this "investigation" you're referring to.
“3) It's undeniable that you provide a service of poor quality with all these complaints throughout the internet and all... what's your excuse this time? Anyone else want to attack me or my family?”
Playing the victim again? Chill out, man. I think that hardly constitutes an attack. If anyone in here should be stressed it should be me. You had more than a month to spend my money and pay back without interests... Nice operation you have going on by the way. You found a loophole in the system and you're using it like there’s no tomorrow. Thumbs up for you. Let´s see for how long you can keep this up.
And another thing... why did it take you all this time to post a reply in the forum? Hmmm... | | | |
