| | My Gandalf is missing also. I've tried to correct this problem by going into my settings. It appears that you can browse for and grab your own avatar (do we still need 1000 posts?). I tried this and it didn't work either. I don't have 1000 posts yet, so maybe the site is set up to filter out attempts at custom avatars if the 1000 post criteria isn't met. If that is true, it should pop up a message with a warning (Danger Will Robinson....Danger...) | |

| I didn't have enough posts for a custom avatar on the old boards, but the one I was using (Dr. Evil) doesn't show up, and when I try to change it (thinking maybe it had been removed), I don't ever get a menu or anything.
Not sure if custom avatars are still supposed to be restricted, I tried uploading a custom one, but that didn't work either.

If you have on-going avatar issues, feel free to post in this thread, it's just that the "Forums" forum had a few too many stickied threads.

| I just tried to upload again, with no luck.That little red "X" seems now to have erased any reference to poor old Gandalf. I thought I might have to erase the old one, and then try to load a new one. That didn't work either.  I guess I'll just have to post 366 more off topic gratuitous posts and try again. | |
