| Posted By kestrel.ca on 09/23/2006 6:59 AM Attempted to use the "Get Email/Refs" function on the side bar (cool idea!). It only works if you know the users actual account name, and not necessarily their display name. For example, my account is technically "kestrel.ca", but my screen name is "kestrel" (as set in profile). Searching for "kestrel" returns a 404. fixed

The View Have/Want List and View Trades work properly. The email and profile links underneath user's avatars should now be working properly. Keep in mind that if you send an email from that link, your email address will be included as the return address. The "Reference Thread" link still needs additional work done to make it functional.

Its a real pain to have to manually type the line breaks.
This problem is only happening for me in the add reply screen and when I quote someone but not the quick reply box. Using IE 7 beta 3 both at home and at work hmm this is really strange. For me I just press return. Are you trying to use html view? You should be using Design view (the tab below where you type the message).
I am having the same problem and it just recently started. How do I change the view that you refer too?

When I try to reply with quote the quoted text disappears a moment after the editor opens.
Same thing happens when I try to edit one of my posts.
I
cannot initiate a trade in the interface. It says I am not logged on
(which I am) and that I should enter it through MaxMinis (which I did).
Often when I the icon under the avatar to check people's H/W list it says that user does not exist
what browser and version? Firefox 1.0.7 on OSX.

Make sure you have cookies enabled. It could also be that firefox on OSX has some missing features, bugs, or incompatibilities. If it is possible, could you try using Internet Explorer on OSX and seeing if you encounter the same problems? | | | |

| I do get the correct editing window on the same machine when I use firefox, so I guess it must be an IE 7 problem. So nice of Microsoft to make their browser incompatible with their server software.

| | I suspect the forum maker will HAVE to fix it for IE7, so I'll keep my eyes out for a fix. If IE 7 is out now, it shouldnt take long. | | | |
