| Hello,
I know that Bert the Troll is aware of these issues,as he stopped in on the thread that started it all.
Several users (at least three) seem to be experiencing random database errors while trying to access threads while logged into the site.

Basically, attempting to access one of the problem threads results in an error message about inability of the site to complete the load (or not finding the page). Clearing caches and cookies does not rectify the problem, but the error is not constant. It seems to randomly decide to allow access or even switch threads.
Currently, I cannot access or update my minis Sales Thread (Marketplace forum) when logged into the site. Previously I could not access or post to the Gameknight Winnipeg D&D Campaign 2.0 thread in the Meetingplace forum.
Any chance of someone trying to track this down please?
It does not seem to be browser dependant, as users with both Firefox and IE are affected.

The error was also present for a time with the Madda's price guide thread. ATM it only seems to be with the Game Store Master Index. | |

If refreshing the page to completely reload it isn't fixing the problem (it's possible you may need to completely empty your browser cache, sorry), then the only person who would be able to help diagnose the problem will be Webmaster (aka Host).
I'll pass on the issue in case he hasn't seen these threads.

Yes, that would be the thread in question. I managed to get into it late last night. It appears that having someone else post on the thread breaks the "lock" that prevents you from posting. So far this afternoon I am having no problems getting into threads. Of course, that did happen before as well and then I ended up locked out again, so I will cross my fingers and hope.
Thanks for any adjustments or tests you may have made to the database.

| Assuming that a right click on the thread title gives me the threads properties and not the pages properties, the one I'm having trouble with is here.

This problem seems like it may be specific to certain users or configurations, since only a few people seem to be running into it...
Which version of IE are you using?

None of wich surprises me, this isn't the only issue or site that I've had some problems. I'm using IE 5. It's a work computer, so I'm SOL as far as upgrading goes. It's not much of an issue though, I can still view the threads by logging off. | |
