Unfortunately, there is no "ignore" command for the chat here.
There also isn't any immediate way for a chat moderator to respond to this type of incident, so adding chat moderators (in name only) will have very little effect on this sort of thing. Sorry.

| I suppose public humiliation of the perpetrators wouldn't work. Folks who converse this way are usually too filled with self-hate to allow themselves to feel enough to appear to be affected by such things.

Yeah, there's no ignore command.Â
I faked it.
It was my thought that if I "ignored" the little ____________, that his steam would blow out and he'd be done.
It sorta worked . . . unfortunately there was no way to communicate the plan to everyone else.

Problems with postings in chat are handled exactly the same way that problems with posting in the forums are handled: all of the accounts created and used in this incident were permanently locked as a result.
