I can play on Saturday and Sunday, between 5pm and 7pm GMT, or weeknights between 5pm and 7pm GMT. Hope this helps. I sometimes see Darksolar on VASSAL, but never seen s1n50, perhaps you use a different name? I'm Mongrelfolk_among_the_Kender on VASSAL.

| Hmm, another rematch with Krawd, this time with my CE warlord. Not sure I like those odds.
Zippy, I've managed to get myself sick, so if we could leave our match till later in the week (Friday night?) I'd appreciate it. Apparently staying up late two nights last week playing minis was less then brilliant on my part. :P
Zarnof, the 50 pt game won't take long. I can play Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday eveing after about 7:30 pm central. | |

Summary:
Tyrant's choice of bringing the Maw's was well thought out as Damocles Freezing Snowballs did little to slow thier advance. Shards of one of the snowballs wounded Tyrant badly forcing him to remain well behind his troops. As the maw's advanced frontaly the Bugbear moved to flank the Wizard and his band. The gnolls quickly realized they were outmatched by the bugbear and retreated to intercept the Abyssal outsiders. With a few well placed hits (while dodging arrows from the footpad) the gnolls made quick work of the fiends. Once tyrants frontline was defeated Damocles grined. He soon will teach this orc his place and will do it the most painfully agonizing way. With another blast of ice Tyrant realized his defeat and fled quickly leaving the Bugbear to his own demise. Shortly after tyrants disappreance the gnolls surrounded the bugbear and with instructions from Damocles they slew him fast. | |

Richard, I am leaving town Friday / Saturday, so I can do

| | jjbeezer (LG), AngryIrsih (CG) and Tkort (CG) I am slightly restricted in times I can play this week. I cant play Mondays and Thursdays (from 720pm-830pm) like normal because I have TaeKawnDo those nights. But anything after those times is fine for Monday and Thursday. Also Friday I wont be back until around 800pm. LASTLY! I will be attending the California DDM Open on Saturday (and I have no idea when it will end) pretty much all day, maybe I could put in a late game. Also unless Im lucky I cant really get on until 6 every day other than the weekend :P. So yea..I probably shouldnt even have signed up this week :D Oh well. Please Email me or post here when you would like to play. | |

| Well I was realy looking forward to my Purple Dragon Knight with Ring of Big Stepping owning Rgrayua with his Swift Fear Cone but I will take a win any way I can get it these days :). I just did the following Item roll, a trade in of a medium potion of fireballs half-used:
- I'm gonna start a log now and then roll Bertha's magic item from last week (Rgray conceded due to bad schedule)
- she is trading in her potion of fireballs [][x] for a major

I just noticed that I have lost a lieutenant for Bertha.... I don't know when it happened but Bazagen the Hill Dwarf Warrior has disappeared :). He only had 500 xp.. but it'd be sad if I someday won a match and realized who I thought was a LT didn't count anymore 'cuz it had been so long since he was there :)

| While we're reminding people of things: I like to suggest to everyone to take a minute to check out Jai's great card creator and create the stat card for your warlords! It seems like very few people have done it (maybe I'm just on an unlucky streak and keep hitting the people that haven't?). It only takes a few minutes and only needs to be updated if you level up, but it makes things easier for you and for your opponent. Plus it's really cool :).
If you don't understand how it works, here are a few easy steps:
- Log in to MaxMinis first, this will make it easier later.
- Now go to the EC Stats page.
- Now click on Card Creator, and fill in your warlord's info.
- When the warlord is done, click generate card, and then select and 'Copy' the weird codey-looking stuff in the box at the bottom of the screen.
- Now go back to the stats page and hit "edit" beside your warlord's name, and then 'Paste' all the gobbledygook into the "XML" box at the bottom and hit Update
- You may get an error message (but I think it's fixed) that doesn't mean anything and then VOILA your card is ready :).

Summary:
Craziest. Game. Ever. Lets see, the game started off pretty slow taking the cover of tiles in the start. The Deathlock came out of hiding to shoot Ialdabode with a Magic Missle only to die a round later. Then the pair of Orc Champions moved down to cover followed up by the Orc Druid..big mistake. Valious GMA'd and based my Druid dealing 20 dmg with smite evil. He won init and procceded to kill my Druid, critting and hitting for the rest of his 30 hp. The Orc Champions moved up and made the Peg run with a Fearburst weapon. Next round the Peg rallies and my orcs all move up a bit Killing his Dire Ape. Then I won init and rushed killing Devis and cleaving into the IM. He attacked back bring the the Orc Champ with DR 5 to 10 hp's. Next round..I win init (phew) kill his IM and Aramil and then have both Champs up top. Gray shoots 85 hp Champ and brings to 75, baldy missed. Next round, peg charges 10 dmg to 65 hps. I attack back missing once (nat 1) and killing the second time. The Enfeebled 10 hp DR 5 Orc Champ bases the Gray and kills baldy and cleaves into the Gray with a crit for 40 dmg ending the game. It was pretty crazy, tide of battle swang back and forth many times that game. GG Tkort! | |

Summary:
Crazy dice, crazy game, just another night on Vassal. After both sighing that we both brought very similar bands, we placed tiles and started the match. My tile placement was better than usual tonight and I had myself well protect by the torture chamber against all the wizards spells. I got all my units inside the TC and end of first few round we had both ZWD squaring off against each other in a back and forth melee. My BW takes out both his OW's while his takes out 3 of mine, My Champ wiffs two rounds in a row with the second attacks on critical failures on his ZWD. His Ravager smacks down my ZWD. We both beat up on this ZWD's, his is based by all my units until Hruk finishes the Job, Mine flys to base his Wizard getting one hit before finally going down to the Ogre.
New round: ZWD's are dead and he's one orc ahead. I continue to advance but its slow going on this scenario. he blows of a few spells taking down another orc warrior, and wounding Hruk . At 3 units each we start the iniative battles, the winner giving it to the loser so you get the last activation, this goes on for round or two, until I leave myself open he gets another snowball off, killing my last OW, Hruk saves and takes 5. I then get my Champ on the north side of a horizontal broken wall withihn 9 of his three guys group together by his exit tile. Hruk is to the south of Broken Wall with LoS on the Orc Champ. EB wins Ini and I guess out of habit at this point passes it of to me, My Orc Champ moves down wastes the Assassin and Cleaves the Rav forcing an MC but he saves!. The Ogre counters with 40 point smite, but I MC, Hruk gets close hoping for a break. Next Round. EB wins again Rav pounds my Orc Champ dead, the Rav has 40 points left, he the Drow retreat until they were almost on their exit tile. He wins iniative again!, but again passes it to me!.
And there it was, the biggest break I've had playing DDM yet staring me right in the face!, but could I pull it off?. I move Hruk up 4 and melee attack and hit the ravager dropping it to 30 HP. I then use my Quick Cast to grab my scroll of Silent and Still with lesser frighten, which forces the Rav to MC, he fails and routs off the board!! , GONE!! It's now Hruk with AC 23 and 45 hp versus the Dagger wielding Drow Wizard with 35hp.
We go back a forth for a good 10 rounds with ini's and attacks I make him MC, he saves and uses his Ring of Recovery to get back to 35 HP, Hruk has to beat him down again and I finally do even thou he did hit me with 1 critical, I only got within 5 of MC'ing while Hruk had to do a grand total of 60 points of melee damage to finally kill the wizard.
Like I said, intense crazy game with fluky dice all night, lots and lots of "1"'s and "20"'s. Great game by EB, and while we both made mistakes passing the ini (I blew a chance to win it earlier, deciding not to gamble on the ini) The game really just boiled down to pulling that move out of my arse as I had the right tools this day to get the job done.
