Summary:
Nothing is more difficult than facing a similar warband! Both polyvalent warlord, powerful goliath barb... Bleys bring more fire support (wand expert, xendrik), me more strength (dire bear).
Quickly the bear move in, destroying quite fast the xendrik champ. The goliath barb move in to kill the wand expert, and his goliath killed the bear. Odds were even.
I managed to get the good rolls to kill his barb and his psion. Mandor was alone against Gorbudas, the GCR and my goliath. Mandor succeed in killing my goliath before being killed himself.
Bleys is such a gentleman! I have been an horrible opponent this week, being forced to abandon a nearly over match, then having difficulties to log. I need those vacation, including not playing EC for a couple of days. Bleys have been patient, never complain... Thank you, Bleys! Merry christmas, happy holidays to you and all our Ec community!

Summary: Thanks for a great game Tkort! Valius exploited some early errors on my part and really leveled the field by taking out my cultist and his 4 (soon to be 6) maws. There's nothing so disheartening as seeing your opponent roll a 4 on a critical initiative and then rolling a 1 (the only number that will fail). I'd also like to thank the succession of critical hits that assisted Cherita and Raven Eyes in their victory.
Sorry, but I can't check the log from this PC, so please correct any errors I have on the write up. Mostly, I don't remember your item.
Thanks and I look forward to playing Valius sometime with Cherita at the helm.

Thanks for posting! I've been issuing Default Win for scheduled games with no show, and Draw for games that could not be scheduled. I'll call your match a Draw, and if I'm applying the rules improperly please post in the forfeits/ethics thread so I correct the error of my ways!
Oh, and didn't see you signed up for week 50 - schedule not made yet so there's still time to sign up if you wish, y'all.

Valius' (IM's) base attack is +7.. so before items/spells his levelled attack will be 13/8. When you post that on a creature's stats, though, doesn't it make more sense to say "extra attack at -5" or something? Anyways that was your first question: as to my item from last week: I rolled:

Summary:
Yet another 4.5 hour epic BG game. I was able to score an early coup at the end of round 4 I think it was by sliding his gith with my rakshasa putting him out of the aura of protection of the couatl and then laying into the gith with various firey spells of doom to kill him before he could do anything.
I actually won a lot more initiatives then I really had a right to expect to given the CR bonus difference. One important one allowed me to kill the marut although not before it had dished out 60 damage to Nox. :( Most of the other ones were when I was trying to hack through Bertha and the game was no longer really in doubt. 33 ac's are just annoying.
Things started off fairly well I thought when I hit must of his band with a confusion spell, unfortunately he made all the saves. Then he put a spiritual hammer on BG which was awkward, but the hammer couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, much less a skinny necromancer. I think BG got hit all of twice in the 8 or more rounds we played.
Unfortunately Tkort was a meany-head and killed my Thayan Knight who was really supposed to get the lieutenant exp and maybe get promoted eventually, doesn't look like that'll be happening.

Summary:
This was just one big slugfest in the middle of the board. The Helmed Horrors swooped in and started attacking the forces after Lady Chatterley pinged the Couatl with a gaze and staved off a Turn Undead attempt from Kane (note to self, turn undead effects the nearest undead creature, not nearest enemy). Kane was surrounded, but survived a fair amount since there were SO many things I needed to kill ASAP. The Helmed Horrors did what they do best, hit hard, don't die for a long time, and take down lots of stuff with them. By the time the Horrors fell, all Santee's melee backup except the LEE were destroyed, and the Couatl was gone as well. Then Urthok waded in, still untouched at 120 HP and went to town on the LEE.
Lady Chatterley deftly wove between walls and statues getting off pretty much a gaze every round, and possessed Rikka once. I was surprised that hide didn't get in her way, because the battlefield was absolutely littered with statues (since everyone made morale or rallied). In the end, Ash and Lady Chatterly caught up with Santee, and so did Urthok, which spelled his doom dispite all his healing.
Although Ash is an admirable Lt., I just really like the Ghostly Consort, and I'd like to get her a few levels. She could be a nasty Lt. in a couple levels. Commander 0 would actually be a bit of a benefit for her. Lady Chatterley definitely earned her keep today, not getting touched, save for one Turn Undead attempt. | |

| Squishy had an error which is listed as still having the Ring of Lightning Bolts though it was traded for the Shield of the Banshee which is a major even though you list it as a medium. That's where the problem was. Please fix.
