| The following is a list of all tournaments and campaigns currently
being organized from this forum. If you have are starting a campaign or
tournament and would like it posted here, please let us know.
Many
of these tournaments/campaigns are already underway, however most will
be running a 2nd+ season if things go well. I've included the username
of the main organizer so you may email them if you are interested in
joining in next time there is an opening.

Epic Constructed Tournament (simage-in progress)

on the VT-Constructed link at the top of the page. Read the campaign
rules. If you have any questions, you can email me or post in the
forum. You can click on join and post your warband and map choice.
Don't forget to put your email and time zone in. Sign-ups will stay
open for about a week. I am hoping we can have about 16 players in
this tournament. Prize support is tbd right now, suggestions are
welcomed.

We
will be signing up 12 players, each submiting a 200 point constructed
Warband. Tournament will consist of 5 swiss rounds with the top 4
players advancing to the 6th and final round.
All standard DCI
tournement rules apply. Each week will played on a different map, but
you keep your selected warband through out the entire tourney. Maps
will be listed in advance of the warband submission. All Maps will be
choosen from the current Vassal Mod 1-10-2.

Season should last roughly 2 months and consists of 8 total matches.
2 matches of each of the following warband point sizes: 300,400,500,& 600.
Commanders choice will be limited to all commanders 60 points and under.

The campaign will be played using the standard campaign rules, DCI
Floor Rules, and rules found in the Mimiatures Handbook except for the
changes below.
* Each round of the Campaign will last one week NO EXTENSIONS (unless specified).
* Players may pick any commander from all the expansions that costs 60 points or less

Commander level up works much the same way as shown in the minatures
handbook only we have incorporated an experience point system that
allows players to purchase level-up items from a store.

The Eternal Skirmish Campaign (galneweinhaw - always accepting new players)

The
EC is a variation on the Skirmish Campaign laid out in the Miniatures
Handbook. The original EC is played over the internet via Vassa and
administered on the DDM fan site maxminis.com.
Every week
players who are interested in playing must sign up to play. There is no
obligation to play every week, so if real life gets busy just don't
sign up for a few weeks until you have time to play again. On the other
hand, if all you want to do is play DDM, you can play up to four
warlords simultaneously once you've been around for a while (1 per week
up to a max of 4 in your 4th week). You will only be matched versus
warlords of similar power, so you don't have to worry about getting
your butt kicked by any of the Epic 10th level warlords.
In the
Eternal Campaign, each battle earns your warlord XP, and when your
warlord acquires enough XP he gains a level where he can learn
everything from new spell powers to feats to an extra attack....imagine
your favorite Kobold Sorcerer warlord chanting off Fireballs, an Orc
Druid with Call Lightning, or Urthok the Vicious with 3 melee attacks
that do 15 damage with the Power Attack Feat!
