Summary:
Weird match starting off with a miscommunication on time zones :).
Bertha did a nice job of smashing a few units pretty good, including dropping Urthok from a robust and undamaged 130hp to 30 in one charge. Unfortunately her wreckless attacks left her open to counter attacks and eventually she was dropped by some timely good luck on her enemies' parts.
Meanwhile the blessing of Moradin himself shone down upon Bertha's warband as the ultimate Deity's very Aspect walked amongst them, hewing the evil enemy left and right. With the aid of his celestial counterpart, the Couatl, the Mighty Dwarf chopped through minions small and large alike. When all was said and done, only the two Outsiders remained, but the vile Hobgoblin's army was little more than a steaming ruin of half-bodies.
Good game Lodgar, it was an interesting match, I still hate that the War Troll somehow avoided being a Giant though!!

POSTSCRIPT: Oops I forgot we also had to adjust Lodgar's warband as he hadn't realized that WB Building didn't allow for Commanders: He substituted the Bugbear Champ for a Duergar Champ.

Also other than the xp correction (as shown above) can I have Mauls name listed as Maul the Enforcer (Duergar Champion) or is that simply to long? if it is maybe abbreviate (Du. Champ). Im running with the thieves guild theme :)
Also a side did the round thing ever get fixed above? ive been rounding down, and this next rd if I get a win the tourney pts might matter big and the rounding could make a subtle difference. | |

Well, I really enjoyed the game with Tkort. It was our first, which is suprising. He played really honorably several different times, like pointing out one of his units took an extra 5 damage from the pain when I forgot, and letting me keep my gith monk when I forgot to post it in my warband (I was prepared to play without it, dumb mistake on my part, but he was a really good sport and let me play with it). Anyway, he played well, but we were both getting pressure from our girls to hurry up, I believe, so we played kind of speed DDM, which is an oxymoron usually. He had some key failed morale checks, and the iron golems smacking for 30 on Aoo's hurt a lot too.
Was really fun Tkort, thanks for being an easy-going and pleasant opponent, will be fun to play you in the future! | |

Well, the winning of initiative and the quickstriking item on the aspect of kord won another game. 45+45 was enough to kill a full HP clay golem, and 35 on a SS was enough to MC the ooc half ogre who ran away thanks to Richard's prayer. At that point ehren was willing to concede although we played it out for kicks.
It was kinda of a bad matchup for ehren. the CoP match up helps CG, but the couatl really nerved the bladesinger. All she could really do was a couple of 5 damage mm. The ability of the WFBG to spread the damage around was really nice.
Good game ehren.
Oh yeah, we added up ehren's band and it was 176 pts, so one of the SHA was swapped out for a human wanderer. That human wanderer almost kicked my butt. Those steelhearts with the bladesinger are pretty good too. | |

I did not give any of the creatures I had used in that battle EXP because I wanted to level up a Xen'Drik Champ. Since I was only first level I could only have one LT.
Now that I look back I see that I would level either way the next battle, so I guess we can asign it to Willy the Frost dwarf.

Summary:
Having planned for a gith monk or two, seeing an area effect gold champion forced Noblit to disperse his troops. Aramil was also an unwelcome sight, bringing a significant ranged threat to the field. Noblit sent his archers in to take shots at the incoming band. Arvin went in for the sacrifice to destroy Aramil, which is all he did. Golden Staff routed then rallied while standing on the exit threshold.
The Gold Champion finally reaching Noblit's corner, unleashed a reign of destruction, knocking out the frost dwarf first. Then he charged a Xen'drick, failing a conceal check for a critical hit. No matterm the next round he followed on with another pair of critical hits that passed conceal checks - Archer down!
In the meantime, the other Xendrick finished off Golden Staff and the Hill Dwarf Warrior, then moved up to sink a last minute arrow into the Gold Champion for the kill and the win. Eshe was unscathed, while Noblit suffered a minor wound and was still accompanied by a fresh Xen'Drick and an orc warrior.

The first few rounds went to the Aphrodite Treesong, having killed the duergar with an empowered magic missile, the lead goblin with a produce flame, and shooting the grell in the brain with the greycloak ranger. Also the wolf was gaining vp the entire time in the victory area. The tide turned when Rummi charged the greycloak causing it to route to its death from aoo. The druid charged into battle, only to be out numbered by Rummi, Lt. Grendll, and one minion goblin. When the druid fell, Aramil could not fight on. :

Fixed Zarnof (LG) exp, and sacred lye (CE) lieutenant exp. Outstanding things:
dj-chuckles (CG): Your CoGG is level 4, that means one feat, not two. You can have either sudden empower or spontaneous casting but not both. Also, shadow is now a major property, so you need to reroll that. Blast Flesh is also a major power, so you need to reroll that ring power.
SilentG (LG): Your warlord seems kinda flabbergasted. Can you confirm:
C4: +4 save, +20 HP, CR=3, +5 cost
Partial CFX: ????
CFX: Warband Building: CG humans are legal in your warband.

Whether you have completed your game or not, it is important that you ensure the result of your match is posted. If you lose a game, make sure the winner has posted before the deadline. If they haven't make sure you post SOMETHING to show the status of the game. If you haven't been able to schedule your game, BOTH players must post that. If you want to schedule a late game, cool, have one player post that. You get the idea... POST SOMETHING!!! [:D]
Out of respect for both the admin and other players, we cannot schedule a player in the following week who has not posted the results of his game...if you're too busy to spend 30 sec to post the result of your game, how can you take 2-4 hours playing a game on VASSAL. There may also be legitimate reasons for not being able to post something, which is obviously no prob. In this case please understand the main reason for this is to prevent scheduling players who have bailed at sometime during the week, after the next week's sign-up where they had already signed up. Think of the admin and scheduling re-arranging headaches it would cause.... a guy signs up his four warlords for next week, but Saturday night decides he doesn't want to play anymore and doesn't bother playing his game that week (and hence doesn't POST anything). If we schedule him next week.... GAHH!!!
