AUCTION HOUSE GUIDELINES
- Auction Schedule: A new auction will be held each round of the campaign. Each new auction will open on Monday, and close Sunday night (midnight Eastern US, GMT-5).
- Item Selection: For every three warlords signed up in a round, one ranom magic item will be added to the Auction, cycling through Major, Medium, and Minor (For example in the first week there were 46 warlords --> 15 items --> 5 Maj, 5 Med, 5 Min).
- Currency: Your warlord's magic items are the currency with which you bid on other items, and each has a value depending on its strength: 1 Major = 2 Mediums = 4 Minors. Partially used items are not diminished in value.
- Minimum Bid: The minimum bid for any item, is one or more items with total value equal to the item being bid on (so the minimum bid for a major could be: 1 major, 2 mediums, 1 medium and 2 minors, or 4 minors).
- Bidding: Warlords may bid on as many items as they like, however, you may not use the same item twice to bid, bids may be raised in a NEW post but never lowered, bids may be retracted in a NEW post which must include who now has the high bid (listed in proper format). Bid retractions are not allowed.
- Posting the Bid: Bids must be posted using this template.
- Editing a Bid: Be very careful when editing your bids. If a bid is edited AFTER another bid on the same item is made, the edited bid will be disqualified. If you are unsure, create a new post rather than editing an existing bid.
- Using Items: Items that have been used to bid may still be used in your games for the same round. Items won in an auction may be used starting in the round after the auction closes.
The Auctioneer may periodically repost the high bid on items along with the date of the last update.Last Update: Sunday Late afternoon

Heya, Ehren, there's a specific format for the bids which can be found under the "this template" link in the bidding rules section of this thread.
I think some part of the bid-tracking process is automated, so the formatting is necessary. Basically it just bolds the standardized phrases and puts your bid offers in a list format. Regardless of necessity, it sure makes bidding prettier. :P | |

It was actually for fun. I was honestly expecting him to over bid me since he’s going to promote his Lieutenant when he reaches level 2. When he does that he can only bring over 1 major item. Right now he has 1 major and 4 medium.
I retract my bid. It was meant to be humorous and I apologies if Jai or others thought otherwise.

You should probably take out the BID RETRACTION part that you have in the template. (spaces added to show Forum code)

| General Auction Question (please redirtect me if this is not the right place to ask):
If a warlord bids on an item, can that warlord trade in that item after a match and simply replace the bid item with other(s) of exact equal total power [?]
For example, Warlord Matt bids on +1 Armor of Vision on Tuesday, offering up his +1 Armor of Insight for the deal. He then has a match on Wednesday, wins, and trades in his +1 Armor of Insight for a Major item. He then immediately goes back to the Auction House thread and updates his bid to offer +1 Armor of Minor Invulnerability (replacing the Insight item in the bid). Is this allowed [?] | |
