| REPORT: Wish (CG) vs. Kenkos11 (LG)
Victorious Warlord: Gleen (Wish) Warband: Gleen (+1 armor of charisma, cloak of big stepping, medium quickened scroll of sanctuary); Fen'zel (+1 sonic ranged weapon, brazier of summoning fire elementals); graycloak ranger (+1 close quarters ranged weapon); xen'drik champion x3; wild elf raider; rikka; wolf (minion). Warlord XP: +1000 XP (9750) Warlord Leveling: +1 Caster level, +5 hp, +1 CR, +[] searing light. Lieutenant: Fen'zel the Xen'drik champion Lieutenant XP: +500 XP (3000) Lt Leveling: +1 martial level, +1 attack, +10 hp, Selective Shot feat. Magic Item Gained: (Med) +1 armor of the harpy Magic Items Used or Traded: none
Vanquished Warlord: Lucrezia (Kenkos11) Warband: Lucrezia(+1 Shield of the Lion), Ulmo, Slayer of Domiel, Hamlet, Halfling Sneak x4. Support- Combat Medic(+1 Shield), Healer, Protectar, Lidda Halfing Rogue Warlord XP: +250 XP Warlord Leveling: none Lieutenant: Hamlet the Sacred Watcher Lieutenant XP: +125 Lt Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Med) amulet of the harpy Magic Items Used or Traded: (Min) +1 shield
Summary: Gleen set up at lower left, and sent his troops scrambling for teleporters. Lucrezia led her troops down toward the double teleporters. Hamlet flew through the wall to attack a Xen'drik. Second round, Ulmo came around to flank Fen'zel with Hamlet, but Gleen's band converged on the undead and brought him down. Fen'zel summoned his fire elemental, who killed the protectar and then promptly routed out of the temple. Rikka waylayed in the rightmost victory area at the start of turn 3, and Gleen's band got the jump on Lucrezia's. Fen'zel teleported away from Ulmo to go hit Lucrezia, then Rikka flew over to finish off the halfling warlord. Ulmo and the slayer of Domiel converged on another xen'drik, but he made his OOC morale save. Gleen moved up to puree some halflings with his ring of blades while the rest of his band piled on the slayer, forcing her to flee the battle. A few attacks went Ulmo's way, but all missed.
Ulmo managed to kill one Xen'drik and injure another the next round, while Gleen moved to bring the healer, another halfling, and the combat medic inside the ring of blades. The healer fled, but the medic moved into the corner near Ulmo. Fen'zel shot the last halfling sneak in the back and then moved closer to the main fight. Rikka flew over and hit the medic, who bravely stayed around, until a wolf walked over and bit her. After that, it was pile on Ulmo time. He didn't take any damage until everything else on Lucrezia's team was dead (including the support), but he went down fairly swiftly when Gleen's entire warband attacked. Rikka's melee attacks and Gleen's nimbus of light spells did most of the damage.

| POOL C REPORT: zephyrstorm (LG) vs. jjbeezer (CG)
Victorious Warlord: General Specific (zephyrstorm) Warband: General Specific (M2, +1 Shocking Melee Weapon), Justicator (Ring of Acid Resistance), Justice Archon x2, Private Public the Warforged Scout. Support: Sacred Watcher, Barbarian Mercenary, Man at Arms Warlord XP: +500XP (2750) Warlord Leveling: n/a Lieutenant: Private Public Lieutenant XP: +250XP (875) Lt Leveling: n/a Magic Item Gained: (Med) Heightened Scroll Magic Items Used or Traded: n/a
Vanquished Warlord: Regdar, Lover (jjbeezer) Warband: Regdar (Armor sF8[], Giant Bane Weap), Sara - Voice of Battle (Armor of Maj Prescense, Quick scroll of MM), Wemic Barbarian (Armor of sS+6[]), Rikka, Ragnara, wild Elf Raider, Xeph Warrior Warlord XP: +250 XP (6250) Warlord Leveling: n/a Lieutenant: Sara Lieutenant XP: +125 XP (2000) Lt Leveling: Caster Level (+5hp, +1 level, 2nd level spell, Melf's Acid Arrow), CR0, CFX=Outsiders gain MC-2 (Didn't specify alignment of outsiders). Magic Item Gained: (Min) +1 Armour Magic Items Used or Traded: n/a
Summary: Victory Points--zephyrstorm 182/150, jjbeezer 101/150 I marked jjbeezer's Wemic Barbarian, he marked my Justicator. The teleporter temple made for a very fluid battlefield, with ambush attempts being met with counter ambushes throughout the entire game, with the main assassin being the justicator.
After Sara attempted a confusion spell on one of the Justice Archons, the dominos fell. Sara was ambushed by an archon and justicator and died; then an archon was ambushed by the wemic and rikka; then rikka fell the sacred watcher and justicator. After the commanders joined the battle, Specific fell to the wemic, who proceeded into the other archon. The justicator then went to deliver the finishing blows to the wemic, only to miss on one! Fortunately the sacred watcher and man at arms hit to finish the wemic off. | | Champion of the Hellwasp Swarm New subscriber to rule #0: bshugg is always right.

REPORT: Zippy (LG) vs. Zarnof (LG)
Victorious Warlord: Plango (Zippy/LG) Warband: Plango - Mercenary Sergeant (+1 sidestep armor, +1 giant strength shield, Ring of Striding), Atropos - Xorn, Lachesis - Gold Dwarf Soldier (+1 Deadly Precision Melee Weapon, +1 Swift Flight Shield), Clotho - Githzerai Monk, Githzerai Monk #2, Young Master, Couatl, Warforged Bodyguard (+1 Keen Melee Weapon) // Suppot = Githzerai Monk #3, Githzerai Monk #4, Jozan Cleric of Pelor, Human Commoner Warlord XP: +1000 XP (8000) Warlord Leveling: none Lieutenant: Clotho - Githzerai Monk Lieutenant XP: +500 XP (1500) Lt Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Maj) Lavendar & Green Ioun Stone Magic Items Used or Traded: (Med) +1 Shield of Swift Flight
Vanquished Warlord: Valkerata (Zarnof/LG)) Warband: Valkerata (w/amulet of invulnerability, +1 armor of charisma, pearly white ioun stone, +1 vampiric melee weapon, ring of energy adaptation), Happytime Harry the Githzerai Monk, M.C. Peepants the Githzerai Monk, Gitzerai Monk x 3, Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past the Warforged Bodyguard (w/+1 axiomatic melee weapon), Karl, Adventurer (W/+1 hasted melee weapon, quickened scroll of ray of enfeeblement) Warlord XP: +250 XP Warlord Leveling: none Lieutenant: [oops! forgot to ask, TBD - lemme know Zarnof and I'll update this post] Lieutenant XP: +125 Lt Leveling: TBD Magic Item Gained: (Min) Ring of Cold Resistance Magic Items Used or Traded: none
Summary:
This 4+ hour game began as Valkerata staged her troops near a teleporter. Plango took a slightly different approach and fanned his troops to cover numerous teleporters. As Atropos and one monk ventured too close to the Archon's encampment, melee ensued. Monks streaked in, stepped through teleporters, and stung quickly with unavoidable blows. Plango returned the favor sending in his master and disciple monk crew. Aramil moved up to enfeeble the Xorn and the Dwarf, but the couatl, knowing the extreme danger of enfeeblement plus the iron protection of the nearby bodyguard launched a sonic orb to rout the elf out of the battle.
Melee progressed with creatures jockeying for flanking positions, striking with stunning blows, and dealing widespread damage.
In the end, Valkerata, now bloated up to around 175 hp, started mopping up operations. The archon's lone remaining ally, a nearly dead monk, was now cornered by several monks. The lone monk survived several rounds and routed a couple of Plango's monks before being dispatched. And just in time! Valkerata joined the final melee huddle and was ready to triple strike and cleave some more.
It was a close game, as valkerata could have slain Plango's entire remaining warband going solo. Ha ha I forgot to move Jozan the entire game after round 1, well until the last round when I noticed. Jozan to the rescue! That was a fun but long game, thanks Zarnof <-- played really well! | | There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don't. | Regdar carries Sara's body from the teleport temple, discouraged with another loss. His thoughts turn happy again as he remembers the ring he has in is pocket for Sara.
A few hours after the battle - as happens in the realms of the EC - Sara began to recover from her death. Regdar had plans for a proposal tonight even though Sara did not know. That evening the couple headed over to "The Magic Wheel" for a fine dining dinner.
After a fine five course meal, just before desert, Regdar locked eyes with Sara. Now was the time. "Sara, I have something to tell you," Regdar blurts. At the same time she says, "Regdar, I have something to tell you." Sara quickly convinces Regdar his comment is more important and that he should go first.
Regdar stands from his chair and moves next to Sara. He gets down on one knee and pulls out a box. He opens it to reveal a 1/16th karat diamond ring. "Sara, I love you. Will you marry me?" The crowd in the restaurant sees the activity and looks over at them, some sighing for the couple.
Sara stares at him for a few seconds that seem like an eternity for Regdar. Then she says, "Yeah, um, see, this is what I was going to talk to you about. The past few months have been fun with the whole dying and coming back to life thing. But you are a terrible leader and a pathetic fighter. You are so busy that I hardly even get to see you unless we are in battle. Your idea of a romantic getaway was to take me to the Hellspike Prison. You're not that attractive, your breath stinks, and you are the cheapest man I have ever met. I would even go so far as to guess your manhood could barely please a woman, thank goodness I did not try to find out!"
Regdar looks up at her in shock. All he can manage to get out of his mouth is, "Uhhhh, nooooo, whaaaa." Sara stands up from her chair. "That is it, Regdar. I am out of here. Since I did most of the winning for us - disrupting commanders with my songs, confusing dwarves with my good looks, and sometimes fighting better than your, 'I fought in 12 battles and never cleaved anything' ass - I am taking some stuff with me. Maybe I will see you around. Hopefully not. Oh, why don't you run cry to Rikka. I could see your interest in her. Probably just because she barely wears clothes."
Sara storms out of the restaurant. Regdar curls up in a ball on the floor crying, realizing that the vixen, Sara, had him under her spell the whole time.
Sara promotes to warlord. Regdar is gone. Feel free to delete him from the stats rather than keep him as retired.

Would I be able to assign XP to my LT from V2? My first game he was there but I lost so he wouldn't gain any XP. Now with V3 he would gain 125xp. Just wondering if I would be able to add it or not. | | Champion of Silver Dragons, Minsc & Boo!

I doubt it. In V2 dead lieutenants didn't get exp. If you were able to give exp to a dead lieutenant from that game we'd have to go back and let people assign 30 weeks of dead lieutenant exp. *shudder*

Summary: Pike knew his only shot in the tourney was to win big here. He sent scouts out to see the results of previous weeks and noticed that Fancy Pants was probably going to come with Bob. So Pike called in a favor and got a helmed horror on loan from someone more powerful. Bob wasn't familiar with the world of teleporters and the direrats took off to hold the ones needed down. The helmed went in and critically smacked Fancy Pants but Fancy stayed around. Bob was then slowed by a deadly bolt and soon routed off the board. The helmed actually missed the Xendrik a few times as they danced around but everyone but the DAG (who was marked) finally fell. Pike yelled for his followers to collect that bounty and not let him run, and they began to try persuing him all over the board, but he always seemed to be a step ahead of the gang. Finally they cornered him and Pike got the drop on the DAG. Delivering a painful shot that routed him. The helmed swung with a mighty blow to finish him off before he could get away along with the bounty on his head.

It didn't take long for Muggle to catch a glimpse of a goblin and send a sonic fireball screaming into the midst of Snig's warband, killing a goblin and sending the monk running for the stairs (she didn't quite make it since a duergar champ was standing along her path with a large hammer). Muggle's troops moved up to clear out Snig and his Lt. Grell while Graznik, confident that his helm would protect him, closed with the barbed devil that Muggle had been hunting. The cleaving duergars quickly cleared out everything but the devil and a pair of goblin skirmishers, and the battle was over.

Summary: This laborious map melted our melons. Oozemaster got the jump on Noblit from the start, squeezing off the 'skull's fireball on a champ, Noblit, and an orc warrior. Pete the Ooze then moved in to hit Noblit, routing him - wow that was fast! The duegar charged but failed a conceal check. The drider bought some time and transposed Noblit away from the duergar and away from the exit. Noblit regained his composure.
Meanwhile, the orc champions started hacking away at the duergar and destroyed him before his 2nd swing. The zakya stepped into play and crushed one of the orcs who had pinned Oozemaster down - another rout (taking the marked target bonus off board, too). The drider kept transposing the orc champion into play, and the orc would then demolish his target. In the final hours of battle, Oozemaster had his loyal Pete the Ooze and the flameskull, but Oozemaster himself fell to the blade of Noblit before the horribly wounded Noblit could be dispatched.
That was a mentally challenging map, especially with a drider and the ranged threats combined. Very fun combat. Thanks Galn, Great Game! | | There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don't. Reference Thread, H/W List, Champion of the Catoblepas

I don't think you can get more than 100 points per game, even if you go over. Actually, since everybody who was in the top 8 passed 205 (and GalNew didn't), it boils down to whether or not SaintPauli can get at least 5 points; if he does, then the top 8 stay the top 8; if not, then eMpTy Kay takes his spot. Vanquished Warlord: Haga the Slayer (HailSpork) Warband: Haga, Subotai (+1 armor, thundering melee weapon), Frost Dwarf, Quaggoth Slave x2 Warlord XP: +250 XP (2000) Warlord Leveling: Caster Level (+1 level, +1CR, +5 hp, Spells, 2nd: Resist Energy) Lieutenant: Subotai the Xen'drik Champion Lieutenant XP: +125 XP (1000) Lt Leveling: Martial Level (+1 level, +10hp, +1 attack) Magic Item Gained: (Min) +1 Melee Weapon Magic Items Used or Traded: n/a
Summary: We marked each other's commanders. Haga won terrain init and set up in the lower left. First round was spent plugging teleporters on the bottom side for both. Second round I ported the half orc and Adrik to the top left to bait Haga's troops. His champ charged in and failed a conceal, then a slave charged in and critted. The support troops soon arrived to whittle the champ down to just below half. Next round the champ fell as Adrik and his troops retreated (at the sacrifice of a Quaggoth).
The second battle started when Haga was left in the open. Sting got a shot into her as Urtog moved into position. Taking the initiative, Sting got into flank and Urtog delivered the killing sneak on Haga. Then game ended then as Adrik took down a Quaggoth Slave upon winning init. | | Champion of the Hellwasp Swarm New subscriber to rule #0: bshugg is always right.

| | Well, I'm had just about enough of this. Aravis and I were supposed to play Tuesday at 8 central, i waited an hour he didn't show up. I didn't get an email from him, but ran into him on Wednesday by accident and suggested we play. He agreed but an hour and a half into the game or so he said his family was waiting to go watch a movie. Being easter weekend I'm a bit busy, but agreed to play today at noon central, and I've now waited half an hour. I also see he no showed his game against wish this week. I've had enough, I'm not waiting any longer. | |

| You there Elvenlord? Been waiting a half hour, and had emailed you last night with the time after your reply of "I'm free all day friday, just email me" earlier this week. Match was scheduled for 5pm EST (6pm your time). I'll stick around for another 15 minutes, but otherwise this is the second time you've missed.
EDIT: Second no-show for Elvenlord. I'll give it one last try tomorrow at 12pm EST (1pm for GMT-4), but I'll only wait 15 minutes. | | Champion of the Hellwasp Swarm New subscriber to rule #0: bshugg is always right.

Corrections Needed: Wish(CG) You get a 2nd level spell this level. Searling Light is a 3rd level spell.
Zarnof(LG) Assign a creature for Lt XP.
Hailspork(LE) Assign a creature for Lt XP. (Who is Hail the Spork?)
That creature was the renegade warlock. I posted it in the week 63 thread, after St Paullis post of our game. | | Completed trades: Zarnof, Ehren37, Eric is God, griffrat, cavedweller, Kyrinn, Blade, Humble Minion, Noghri, Ilarue

| | Third shot at the match with Elvenlord scheduled for Sat 4:30 EST. It's a bit out of my way now, but we wouldn't have a shot at 100% completion if I didn't, eh? [)] Will only wait 15 minutes for the match though, as I've waited for close to 2 hours already... | | Champion of the Hellwasp Swarm New subscriber to rule #0: bshugg is always right. | |

| SaintPauli,
I am very sorry I did not make in on to play you. My wife was using the computer and what she was doing was for work, so i couldn't tell her to move aside, I needed to play a game. I have a game with Wish tonight at 9pm, would you be able to play after that? If we can't get the game in, I will take the loss. I had said I would be there and was not. I am also going to need to sit out at least a week until I get a better handle on the free time I have to play.
I apologize very much about making you wait.

While normally I wouldn't see any problem with delaying a match til next week, this one is a tournament match that determines who gets into the pool A finals. The winner of the match looks like gets into the finals, and if it's a draw then Tkort gets in. Prolly be in your best interest to get it played this week... | | Champion of the Hellwasp Swarm New subscriber to rule #0: bshugg is always right.
