Auction House

• Auction Schedule: A new auction will be held each round of the campaign. Each new auction will open on Monday, and close Sunday night (midnight Eastern US, GMT-5).


• Item Selection: For every three warlords signed up in a round, one ranom magic item will be added to the Auction, cycling through Major, Medium, and Minor (For example in the first week there were 46 warlords --> 15 items --> 5 Maj, 5 Med, 5 Min).


• Currency: Your warlord's magic items are the currency with which you bid on other items, and each has a value depending on its strength: 1 Major = 2 Mediums = 4 Minors. Partially used items are not diminished in value.


• Minimum Bid: The minimum bid for any item, is one or more items with total value equal to the item being bid on (so the minimum bid for a major could be: 1 major, 2 mediums, 1 medium and 2 minors, or 4 minors).


• Bidding: Warlords may bid on as many items as they like, however, you may not use the same item twice to bid, bids may be raised in a NEW post but never lowered. Bid retractions are not allowed.


• Posting the Bid: Bids must be posted using this template.


• Editing a Bid: Be very careful when editing your bids. If a bid is edited AFTER another bid on the same item is made, the edited bid will be disqualified. If you are unsure, create a new post rather than editing an existing bid.


• Using Items: Items that have been used to bid may still be used in your games for the same round. Items won in an auction may be used starting in the round after the auction closes.

Being able to bid first really isn't an advantage.

If you think about, the advantage of being bidmaster (or whatever empty kay's title is) is that you can bid just before the auctions close.

It's still not a big deal to me. I trust empty kay and if there's a perk to doing some work, so be it.
