And to double check, all games are actually 500pts, yes? (have normal warband size listed there, wanted to remind everyone all games are 500 pts this time around).
The scenario description trumps the listed Warband Sizes. I wrote the scenario so that Galneweinhaw could just dump his regular export from schedule bot. That way support troops would show up correctly.
ALL GAMES ARE 500 POINTS THIS WEEK!
Maybe that will make sure everyone plans properly (even if they miss the scenario description).

Summary: And 'lo did the Almighty King Stabby run from the fierce bird creature as his big blue friends decided to snack uponst them... with BBQ sauce. (This is the point where the bard found out why he was called King Stabby, he didn't run... he had another apointment.)
This was a chess match! Me placing the Bluespawns where he couldn't get a charge on them and him trying to manuever around. I used all of other figs as pawns, even my commander and lt, to make sure this happened. With some lucky rolls for me and some unlucky on Gypsylore's part (misses on my helmed horrors and failing too many init rolls) I was able to finish off the last bird, and the final barney, Bill was his name, ate redgar as a finisher. | | Join the fun of the Eternal Campaign

I won't take any Lt. xp for this match, keeping Heimdall the Wand Expert and not taking the Greycloak.
Thanks for catching that error, Chozyn.

| REPORT: Wish (CG) vs. HailSpork (LG)
Victorious Warlord: Gleen (Wish) Warband: Gleen (+1 armor of charisma, empowered scroll of nimbus of light, cloak of big stepping); Fen'zel (+1 sonic ranged weapon, brazier of summon fire elemental, bracers of blasting); Aramil (quickened scroll of ray of enfeeblement); mephling pyromancer; Elminster; archmage x3 (one with potion of cure moderate wounds). Warlord XP: +1000 XP (14250) Warlord Leveling: +1 caster level, +5 hp, +1 CR, +[] cure critical wounds Lieutenant: Fen'zel the Xen'drik champoion Lieutenant XP: +250 XP (5125) Lt Leveling: +1 martial level, +10 hp, +1 CR Magic Item Gained: (Med) +1 Inciting Natural Weapon Magic Items Used or Traded: none
Vanquished Warlord: Gamsa (HailSpork) Warband: Gamsa(Amulet of th Skull), Tiffany (Amulet of the Banshee, Shield of Greater Presence, Fear Burst Weapon), Elfstar(Ring of Fortune Prevail), Bobbin (Amulet of the Skull), Half-Orc Paladin, Epic Slaughterstone (Ring of Quick Strike), Large Silver Dragon (lavendar ioun stone), Arcane Ballista Warlord XP: +250 XP (12750) Warlord Leveling: none Lieutenant: Tiffany the warforged bodyguard Lieutenant XP: +125 (5000) Lt Leveling: +1 martial level, +10 hp, +1 CR Magic Item Gained: (Min) +1 Armour Magic Items Used or Traded: none
Summary: All I can say about this is that I'm very glad that Gleen and Elminster have such staying power. They were the only ones left as Fen'zel and an archmage ran away, another archmage died to a crit hit, and the third rolled a 1 on his breath weapon save and became a wizardsicle. The first round involved the slaughterstone eviscerator (SSE) hopping into the grotto and catching a barrage of empowered magic missiles. The dragon caught a few of the same, then flew over to base gleen and an archmage, but Elminster hit him with a couple scorching rays and he retreated. Meanwhile, another archmage was killing off the half orc paladin. The SSE advanced and I threw a fire elemental in front of it to slow it down while a sword worked on it and my first archmage caught a crit and died. The dragon reversed field and flew up to base another archmage, but Gleen healed that one and he moved into the forest and shot the dragon with a few more magic missiles. Gamsa moved up to heal the dragon. Fen'zel ran away. Elminster popped a silver fire into Tiffany and the SSE, leaving the SSE to die to sword damage, but Tiffany moved around to the other archmage. Alas, the archmage couldn't get through SR on the next initiative to kill the dragon, so instead the last one shot Tiffany with a magic missile and moved away to let his swords do the work. He promptly ran away. The dragon killed the final archmage on a failed BW save. Fortunately, both the SSE and Tiffany died to swords.
A pack of summoned protectars was healing Elminster, but he's not really the grateful sort, and ordered one of them to approach the big silver dragon. He used the mini-angel as a fireball target, roasting the dragon as well, but on its last legs, the dragon paralyzed Elminster and another protectar. Finally, Gleen moved over to put the dragon in its blade field. Elminster decided that paralysis wasn't so bad and stayed that way for a while, as Gleen moved across the field under cover of sanctuary to get to the ballista.
The endgame involved Gleen and Elminster manuevering around the forest to avoid ballista shots while killing off the crew, and when Gamsa fell to a sword from Elminster it was the end of a marathon match (4.5 hours, 15 or so rounds).

| REPORT: jjbeezer (CE) vs. eMpTy Kay (LE)
Victorious Warlord: Vina the Drow Rogue (jjbeezer) Warband: Vina (Armor of Flight, Pendant of Charisma), Blar'ak - Drow Arcane Guard (Pearl of Power, Quick Summon Swarm Scroll), Lulu - Orc Savage (+1 Weapon), Epic Balor (Mask of Quickstrike), Chimera, Zombie WhiteDragon, Orc Wardrummer, Cursed Spirit Warlord XP: +1000 XP (Total 10250 XP) Warlord Leveling: None Lieutenant: Blar'ak, Drow Arcane Guard Lieutenant XP: +500 XP (Total 2750 Lt XP) Lt Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Med) Bracers of the Marksman Magic Items Used or Traded: none
Vanquished Warlord: Slaurgth (eMpTy Kay) Warband: Slaurgth with +1 Greater Empathic Burst Natural Weapon, Bracers if Etherealness, Dark Blue Ioun Stone and Ring of Energy Adaption, Avery with +1 Acidic Melee Weapon, Brooks with +1 Shield of Quickstriking, Aspect of Tiamat with +1 Natural Weapon, Beholder Warlord XP: +250 XP (Total 9750 XP) Warlord Leveling: none Lieutenant: Avery Lieutenant XP: +125 (Total 250 LT XP) Lt Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Med) Quickened Scroll Magic Items Used or Traded: (Min) +1 Natural Weapon
Summary: The Aspect of Tiamat would be my death. Luckily, my undead kept the Beholder out of the picture except for moving his own men forward. After Tiamat took a slide down the slope, she burnt up one spider swarm, hurting another and the Zombie.
Eventually Vina moved up with the Wardrummer playing the Intimidating beat to put Tiamat under her command effect. The Balor few forward and hit her and quickstriked again while Tiamat was on the Death Squares. Even with the -6 to her saves, she passed the MCs. Some more breathing and the death of Lulu and the Spirit saw Tiamat leave said squares. The Balor followed and the Vorpal sword got all 5 heads at once.
At that point the Beholder ran along with Avery. The Balor closed in for a kill and cleave, but the cleave missed. Thanks to Red Tide, the balor acted quickly to kill the big Eye and cleave into Slaurgth (a crit, but with the second attack). The Flayer sucked the undead brains from the Dragon, destroying it. The Chimera landed a hit, and then Blar'ak tumbled down the hill to provide a flank for Vina. Her charge and Sneak Attack finished the Warlord.
This game should have been an easy win for eMpTy Kay if the Balor did not roll that 20 on her. As they say, "that is why they don't play the game on paper." Great warband choice eMpTy Kay! The dicebot had my back tonight.

Summary:
As the warbands emerged from the dense forest, Father Jackson knew he was in trouble. He'd just came from the caves, the eviscerators are great at chopping up trolls giant spiders, but not so good at maneuvering into the great canyon that lay before him. He saw movement in the trees and sent his archon and watcher to investigate, setting up the ballista at the edge of the woods overlooking the canyon.
Suddenly spellfire was coming in, the watcher vanished into a thin steamy string. Mages teleported close to the slaughterstones and landed persistant 'Sword spells on each. The ballista returned fire with a multi-elemental bolt, nailing a mage - the mage did not run. Another mage banished the archon back to its original plane. A warlock zapped the lone dwarf, who tumbled down the canyon wall in steadfast pursuit of a mage.
One mage came to rest in the forest next to Father Jackson. The seasoned priest knew and dreaded the words he heard, and a sword of force sprang up near his head. He quickly hoisted the white flag, came to acceptable surrender terms with Kurlon, his foe, and retired the field.
Great game, well played, bad match-up and poor rolls for you Chozyn. I look forward to our next match! | | There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don't. Reference Thread, H/W List, Champion of the Catoblepas

Summary: When Devis saw what the army was up against, he made a quick call to his mother telling her that he was sorry for joining the army and that he loved her. Even across the cliffs he could see the Huge Red Dragon shaking its wings. Snuffy patted him on the back to attempt to cheer him up. The battle began, and Snuffy held back to force the opposing army to take the slope damage. The archmage was quickly killed, but not before hitting the dragon with Mordenkainen's Sword. Soon the armies clashed, many people were flanked, and eventually Kord was killed. Thankfully the dragon was severely hit by Kord before this, and the sword finished the job. However, things were looking bleak for the CG army. It would have been hopeless unless the candles...I mean small fire elementals came to the rescue. These little matchsticks continuously attacked the worm and brought him to his death. At one point the worm did eat one, and received 5 damage for, as DJ said, "Heartburn." The worm burrowed and did swallow Snuffy, but the army rallied against him on all sides and the little guys burned him to death. At that point Bubbles surrended. It was a good game. =)

Heh, I emailed you that as well... at least, I thought I did. 2200 GMT is 5pm EST, right? That should be fine.
Cool!

| Somewhere along the way, I've managed to avoid picking a 9th level feat for Aeriden. Since she's now on the verge of 10th level, I figure maybe it's time.
Please add Improved Trip to her feat list for next week.

| REPORT: Nirbo(LE) vs. Mr Nived (LE)
Victorious Warlord: Ctholi T'lith (Nirbo) Warband: Ctholi T'lith (ring of blasting), Epic War Troll (melee wpn +1, ring of resistance), war troll (vicious melee wpn +1), war troll, beholder, dark moon monk, skeletal archer, snig the axe & 3 skirmishers Warlord XP: +1000 XP (4750) Warlord Leveling: n/a Lieutenant: Madge the Fist (Dark Moon Monk) Lieutenant XP: +250 XP (250) Lt Leveling: n/a Magic Item Gained: (Med) +1 Ring of Aid Magic Items Used or Traded: n/a
Vanquished Warlord: Ibex (Mr Nived) Warband: Ibex (+1 paralytic burst melee wpn, ring of protection +2, +1 armor of big stepping), 2x green dragon, gauth, thaskor, cadaver collector, steel predator (amulet of big stepping), steel predator Warlord XP: +250 XP (3750) Warlord Leveling: n/a Lieutenant: Blue Lieutenant XP: +125 (125) Lt Leveling: n/a Magic Item Gained: (Min) Empowered Scroll Magic Items Used or Traded: n/a
Summary: And lo, the first steel panther did teleport unto his many-eyed foe and unto the goblins and troll that did standeth with the foe, and did roar upon them and scatter his foe upon the winds and upon the ground. And, hence, did the panther run before the smiting sword of the troll. Behold! The largest of the three blessed trolls, stands paralyzed before the Cadaver Collector of yore. And see how he is smote by green dragons and steel predators alike, so he is as like a pin-cushion of double-damage strikes. Lo, the trolls slide about under the Beholder's eye; and the predators and elephant fall before their smiteration. So was the battle concluded, with celebrated initiatives lining up with the stars to align with the damned mind flayer C'tholi on this day... and verily was it so.

| REPORT: HailSpork (CG) vs. entangled_boson (CE)
Victorious Warlord: Satra (HailSpork) Warband: Satra (Thundering Weapon, L&G Ioun Stone), Jayne (Armor of Withdrawal,Ring of the Lion), Epic Tordek (Armor of Protection), Guenwyvar, Rikka (Armor of Fire Protection), Drizzt, Aramil (Scroll of Empower MM), Mephling Pyromancer Warlord XP: +1000 XP (11,750) Warlord Leveling: M6/S1: +1 lvl/saves, +5 HP, +[]ID, Improved Init Lieutenant: Arluna, Valkyric Avenger (Rikka) Lieutenant XP: +500 XP (500) Magic Item Gained: (Med) +1 Ranged weapon of Precision
Vanquished Warlord: Boson (entangled_boson) Warband: Boson the drow wizard (silent and still scroll : acid arrow, amulet of glorious recovery, ring of energy adaptation), Smelly the half-orc assassin (S1, +1 att, +10 hp, sneaky tactics), deathlock, orc wardrummer, chimera (collar of false life), hill giant barbarian (+1 shock melee weapon), balor (+1 melee weapon of cleave, vicious attack), sorcerer on black dragon (empowered scroll : scorching ray) Warlord XP: +250 XP (10,750) Lieutenant: Smelly (Half-Orc Assassin) Lieutenant XP: +125 (1625) Magic Item Gained: (Min) Ring of Electric Resist Magic Items rerolled: (Maj)Robe of Glorious Recovery -> amulet; (Med) Belt of False Life -> Helm; (Med) Shocking Weapon -> (Maj) (says he already traded something in?)
Summary: First off, Boson had some trouble with the changes to V3; several of his items were equipped incorrectly, leaving his wizard with an unexpected shocking weapon and empowered acid arrow.
He also left several of his units in the Death Zones, and Guenwyvar took those opportunities to pounce. The Chimera and Balor both routed from this, though they both rallied. He had some bad luck with his mounted dragon, since Arluna was able to crit him once, hit him again, and move away without taking a round of beatings from him (which would have killed her 85% of the time). His dragon died by turn 3. (He didn't realize you can't cast quickened spells while threatened too).
Oh, and did I mention a flying epic Tordek in armor of protection? | | CHAMPION OF THE CURRY GOLEM!

| REPORT: Gypsylore(LG) vs. DJ-ChucklesLG)
Victorious Warlord: Trestius the Grim Necromancer (Gypsylore) Warband: Trestius the Grim Necromancer (Ring of False Life, Ring of Acid Resistance), Bluespawn Godslayer (x2), Cadaver Collector, Stonecrop the Duergar Champion (+1 Armour of Fortune Pervailing and Protection), Mind Flayer Telepath Warlord XP: +1000XP (4,000XP) Warlord Leveling: N/A Lieutenant: Stonecrop the Duegar Champion Lieutenant XP: +500(1,000XP) Lt Leveling: +1M, +1Attack, +10hp Magic Item Gained: (Med) Wondrous Item: (H) Helm (or Circlet or Crown or Mask) of Recall Magic Items Used or Traded: N/A
Vanquished Warlord: Gork Mork (DJ-Chuckles) Warband: Gork Mork (Wand of CMW, Ring of False Life) // Ryld // Purple Worm (Lavender Ioun Stone) // Mountain Troll (Mask of Striding) // Witchknife // Orc Druid Warlord XP: +250 XP (3,750XP) Warlord Leveling: N/A Lieutenant: Unnamed Witchknife Lieutenant XP: +125 (125XP) Lt Leveling: N/A Magic Item Gained: (Min) Empowered Scroll Magic Items Used or Traded: N/A
Summary: Gork came in looking for smaller beaters to kill and Trestius came in looking for dragons to hunt. We were both dissapointed.
Luckily for Trestius, Gork's band was without much magical damage to work with. The DR and the Fearless troops on the Lawful Evil side gave Trestius a comfortable edge in this skirmish. It was a rock-paper-sissors type match - Trestius just happened to have the right pieces.
It was a faily quck battle. Both bands closed in cautiously, being careful not to open up too many charge attempt from opposing beaters. My biggest fear was the worm and his ability to swallow Trestius. I defended by staying back for most the fight and binging out summons to get in the way.
Gork's troll had a bad day of things. First the Cadaver Collector paralyzed him (with some help from the telepath's scream) and then later that same telepath managed to get him with a mind blast. That abberation was the hero of the day for LE - without him the match would have been much closer.
Everyone piled up in the center of the map and sluged it out. The combined arms of the Godslayers and the Collector (and their very helpful DR) ended up on top.
Dice weren't awful, but they did side with Trestius more then Gork. Otherwise, it was a rather straight forward, skull basing skirmish.
