In the next few weeks there will be an unofficial Vassal World Championship. The Qualifiers are arranged in Regions and I’ll be the coordinator for region 2 – Canada The rules for the Canadian Region are:
- standard D&D Miniatures DCI rules
- develop a 200 point warband to compete in a double elimination (out after two losses)
- All games will be assault format with a maximum of 8 rounds
- All games must be played within 7 days from the time the match is announced.
- Email your opponent set up a mutually agreed game time on Vassal or post in V.I. Schedule forum at ddmspoilers.com
- If you are not able to meet at the times that were mutually scheduled, losses may be given.
- Extreme circumstances may warrant additional time given to play the games as determined by the regional coordinator.
- Be familiar with all of the updates and clarifications on the Wizard's website Regional tournaments will be held first.
- The top four players in each regional tournament will advance to the International Finals.
- Both players should record a log of the game. There can be no dispute resolution if there is not a log of the game. When your game is over save and keep your log.
- Match Winner files a report in the V.I. Reporting section of the ddmspoilers forum
- should a rules dispute occur please check the rulebook and or/ Guy F's clarifications and try to work the issue out yourselves. If anyone is not happy and cannot resolve the issue, stop the game. Send the Log to your regional coordinator. All the regional coordinators will review the log and declare a unified ruling. Any dispute resolution with out a log will be judged by the regions coordinator. Some Information:
