01/11/2008 11:27 AM Alert
Greetings all I am trying to make a mod for a homebrewed star wars starships game and was wondering if anyone knew of one that is out there on vassal, the one posted doesnt seem to work, and i would like to make a new one at any rate with new graphics and such. also I like the die roller used on the d&d minis site were it shows the different modifiers you added when it makes the roll, I tried to go in under edit to copy that die roller but it wouldnt let me paste into my new module.  Is this propritary info or am i doing something wrong?  I wish there was a more vibrant forum for mod builders i saw the one on vassal and it didnt have much thank you

To get most of your Vassal questions answered, you are better off at the Vassal site.

I haven't every tried using the Star Wars Starships mod. I don't really have much free time right now to dive into it to help you out.

The D&D dicebot was created by Jai and written in Java. It is possible put this code in other mods and get it to work. If you wanted to modify the code, you would need to compile it with the correct Vassal jar files to get it to work. I haven't tried real hard, but, to date, I've been unsuccessful compiling java and getting it to run inside Vassal. There are people out there that have modified the dicebot and gotten the compiled version to work. They are all associated with the Eternal Campaign. They can be contacted at the Hordelings on-line play forum.
