02/17/2008 5:01 PM Alert
Hello,

I'm still trying some new things. I'm now up to DDM 1-14-4 and the related extensions. They are available at http://www.vassalengine.org/community/index.php?option=com_vassal_modules&task=display&module_id=202&page=Files. Once again the changes are minor. I've reintroduced some very basic help text to the main module. I've also change the shortcut key dice roller to indicate critical hits and misses.

The DDM 2.1.3 extension is availabe as part of the Extensions_1-14-4.zip. It contains the DDM 2.0 units from Dungeons of Desolation. Some of the commands have been placed into submenus. If you can't find a command, check the menus. One of the submenus contains all the status effects that can be turned on for the units. Clicking that same effect will turn off the status. Otherwise, there is a reset button that will turn off any statuses that are active. Any units with special abilities now has a property sheet that can be turned on. The sheet contains ticks to keep track of the abilities. Champion points can also be tracked through this sheet. Hopefully, it will prove valuable.

Also, a new feature called Warbands has been introduced. It is a button available next the the Deck and dice buttons. Once each player is displaying their warbands and marked them as either Player 1 or Player 2, clicking this button will allow you to see the number of units and total cost of units belonging to Player 1 and Player 2. This works in conjunction with the Graveyard. Instead of deleting a unit that dies, that unit can now be moved to the Graveyard. This allows it to remain "in play". The Warbands screen will display how many units are on the map and how many are in the graveyard. This should help people verify warband costs and help keep track of a game as it progresses.

As always, if you have questions, comments, or concerns, please post them here.

Enjoy,
Don
