I will be available to play our match on Thursday evening around 9PM EST, Friday evening around the same time (just want to wrap up before Battlestar Galactica) or any time Saturday. Let me know if any of those work for you. Thanks.

| Ok reading Richards report I got confused a bit on something, It might be a bit late to clarify this.
By my reading of the statue race at the end of 10 rds it is the player with the most statues that wins. Only if there is a tie does standard rules apply. I read that to mean, if I am up 6-1 in rd 8 and they kill my whole warband, they have to still run and get 5 statues to win. Beucase then their would be a tie (6-6) and standard rules would apply and they would win on warband elimination. This is how it works right? | | Im out- find me on Hordelings if you want to chat.

I dunno. I always sorta figure if I'm standing and my opponent's dead, I win. [:P] Although at the point that I finished off his thayan knight, it was 8-7 in his favor, so grabbing a couple statues in the 2+ rounds that were left woulda been easy enough.

| REPORT: TKort (LG) vs. Zippy (LE)
Winning Warlord: Warchief Krawd (Zippy/LE) Krawd's Warband: Krawd (Ethereal Helm, Vest of Defense, +1 Armor of Sprinting, Amulet of Concealment, +1 poison axe), Warforged Titan, Ignavus the Green Dragon (Ring of the Lion), 4 x Hoboblin Warrior (one has shirt of reflection) / TILES = Assembly Statue, Medusa's Lair, Hall of Heroes, Ancient Temple Warlord XP: +1000 XP & +1500 CP Warlord Leveling: none Lieutenant: Gibbel the Hobgoblin Warrior = 500XP Lieutenant Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Med).1 Shield of Fortune Striking ([]reroll) Magic Item Lost: none
Losing Warband: Bertha (TKort/LG) Gorn's Warband: Dwarf Sergeant “Bertha” (+1 shocking weapon, +1 shield of command, +1 armor of Displacement, Ring of Big Stepping); Large Silver Dragon “Acid” (Ring of One Godly Blow); Dwarf Artificer “Arty” (+1 returning weapon), Eberk-Adventurer (Major scroll of quickened: CLW) Dwarf Phalanx Soldiers x3: “Phred” (+1 Armor of Shadow (Hide)), “Phedele”(+1 armor of resistance), “Phil” (censor of controlling air elementals). Assembly Tile 2 (statue), Medusa’s Lair, Hall of Heroes, Ancient Temple Warlord XP: +250 XP & +250 CP Warlord Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Med). Potion of Fireballs [][] Magic Item Lost: (Min). Quickened Scroll
Summary:
With the statue race on and oodles of statues to invoke, Krawd's primary attack force sped forward. Bertha's crew in contrast began layering on buff and wards (AC to hit was often over 30!). The conflict began with the titan reaching around a corner to swat at phalanxes, while Krawd slipped through walls to plop down in the center on Bertha's troops. Ignavus not to be forgotten laid a decent spray of acid just before Krawd arrived.
To prevent the Artificer from reaching the vulnerable Titan, Krawd used a series of strikes and blows. Acid the Dragon attempted to paralyze Krawd but failed. With an enemy down, Krawd's "Statue Team" kicked in, 4 hobgoblins attempting to pull magic from the statues. Bertha began to move out of her tight formation, and sent a summoned Air Elemental to remove the Statue Team.
The silver dragon and several phalanx soldiers were able to flank the green dragon and destroy it, while the titan fruitlessly struck at his heavily armored targets. Krawd went to work on Eberk, and then headed on to grab statues. The combat gave way to a mad dash to gain statue boons. The Titan used this opportunity to trample a few of the phalanx soldiers en route.
In the final round, Krawd and Bertha had both run out of nearby statues and made a few futile attacks, and both the Air Elemental and the last remaining hobgoblin secured statue gifts. The final statue count was tied, and sending in the bean counters we found Krawd's team had eliminated 2 dwarf phalanx soldiers (both trampled to death), Eberk the Formerly Adventurous Dwarf, and the Dwarf Artificer. Bertha's Team racked up 3 hobgoblin warriors and Ignavus, leaving Krawd the narrow margin of victory and a crappy choice for Lieutenant experience.
TKort, nice close game! The faster hobgoblins failed a number of statue checks but were cheaper and more mobile, while the slower dwarves did not fail checks but could not reach as may statues. The Titan paid off in being able to Trample and still gain statues, while the LSD did not get his paralyzation to do any good. Interesting balance and very close in the end! | | There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary, and those who don't. | REPORT: rgrayua (LE) vs. jai
Winning Warlord: No Name (rgrayua/LE) No Name's Warband: Urthok the Vicious; Destrachan; Bugbear Footpad; Snig the Axe; Goblin Skirmisher x3; Pancho the Goblin Skirmisher (xp500); Goblin Adept (Support)/TILES = Assembly 6; Ancient Temple; Creeping Tangle; Broken Fountain Warlord XP: +1000 XP & +1500 CP Warlord Leveling: +2 Lvl; +20HP; +2 Att; +1CR Lieutenant: Snig the Axe = 500XP Lieutenant Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Maj.) +1 Axiomatic (Melee) Weapon Magic Item Lost: Traded (Med.) Potion of Protection [x][]
Losing Warband: jai (LG) Digger's Warband: Digger the Dwarf Caver; Smokey the Dwarven Werebear; Tordek, Dwarf Fighter; Dwarf Phalanx Soldiers x2; Hill Dwarf Warrior x3. Assembly Tile 4, Scorched Passage, Broken Wall, Statue Room Warlord XP: +250 XP & +250 CP Warlord Leveling: none Magic Item Gained: (Min.) +1 Weapon Magic Item Lost:
Summary:
The dice were really against jai today. Unfortunately he wasted high rolls on early initiatives that came back to haunt him. After two rounds of maneuvering, No Name's crew jumped on a dwarf killing him. Snig received a reward from a statue of +2 AC. Unfortunately that was the only statue bonus received. Both armies were in a huge melee by that point, so statues were forgotten. One brave Goblin Skirmisher stood up against a Dwarven Werebear, two Phalanx fighters and a Hill Dwarf Warrior as several blows missed him. Brave Goblin C finally fell, but he kept the opposition occuppied long enough for No Name and the remaining Skirmishers to do the job. Pablo unfortunately bit the dust again. All in all a good game by jai, the dice were just against him today.

| Buruja and Unger met on the field of battle racing for statues. First round Unger etherally moved out through the statue assembly wall and layed an ice storm on Buruja's entire band. All 4 orcs were destroyed, the storm hit and destroyed the Spirit, made it through Buruja's SR for a little damage, and blasted the Fomorian. The Big Stepping Human Bandit picked up the first statue.
On round 3 Unger moved up to give the Bulette a bonus on the leap, but it missed the Giant. The Drow Rogue charged in for a SA on the Giant with the SA weapon, miss. Then the HoA moved in for a sneak with the OMB ring, 1. The Giant did not like the company and crushed the Drow Rogue and critically cleaved the Bulette.
A skeleton picked up another statue, and the Bandit picked up a second before he was magic missled. A brave timberwolf gained full healing at a statue on the far side of the board. (Beastmaster - treat an animal or magic beast of that level or lower as if it did not have the difficut or wild special ability.)
Unger summoned 3 more timberwolves and moved far from the Giant. Two of the wolves gained statues as the Giant crushed the Half Orc. Unger moved swiftly again and managed to activate the 7th and final statue himself.
Good game to Kyuketsuki. I got lucky with the first round init win. The etheral move armor worked great for me again. I thought that Fomorian was going to crush me once we engaged, but I was able get the statues in time.
