| 1B I think my opinion of non-epic Kord is well known. There is simply no way he can drop both FBs before they kill him (which they can do easily in a turn thanks to the crow shaman).
2B This one is tougher. I think I might "ignore" kord with one of the Slaads and go after the crow shaman so he cant SS.. drop kord with the MDP and 2 Slaads hopefully at the cost of only 1 Slaad and the match is nearly over.. if Kord had cleave or was fearless he would be one of my favorite pieces in the game.. so my bias remains intact and I vote for the death frogs (and will probably be in the minority on this one).

Yeah, it appears so. [:D]
I didn't really expect it to pick up or get this much attention.
After the low turnout of votes of Kypdurron's first challenge (great idea by the way, Kyp! [:)]), I had to inject something fresh to make it more interesting so that a lot more people would participate.
It turns out all I had to do was turn it into head to head match after determining the seeds.
Anyway, I hope whoever wins continues the same format.

| Match 1: If I thought player A could define the engagement, no contest. A wins. I just don't see B giving up that edge. I think that B will be able to choose engagement more often than not.
B wins
Match 2: I think it would be pretty darn bloody. I've seen WAY too many Death Slaads fail morale. Especially when they are not backed by a superior commander rating. Depending on how far the CG player pushes the fight to the other side of the map (which I expect them to, given the speed of their hitter - don't need them running off), the Slaad could be off the board with no chance to rally.

| I think both of these matches are pretty close, but I pick:
B
A
In each one, I think that Ryld's sizeable initiative advantage is enough to swing things in his favor. Particularly in the second matchup. | | Champion of Gnomes

| 1. A has more offense and just as much utility. A wins.
2. A doesn't have enough offense to hang with 3 death slaads, even without the chaos hammers - once the AoK goes down, it is pretty much over. 6 total hits from all 4 of the major pieces in band B is all it takes. I think Rikka is very weak in this matchup as well. B wins. | | Anson on WotC boards

it looks like your voting A for both of them at first look so i'll just say this so nix wont get mixed up if he's justs looking at them.

If you think the Marut backing them makes a difference, (I would, w/ 6 higher ac, fearless and mass inflict to clear fodder) you should re-look at this matchup. There is no Marut.
Kord, Marut. All the same. Whatever :P | | Welcome to Eternal Crack... "Corn is no place for a mighty warrior!" Champion of the Frost Salamander
