| Interesting to give the Medusa a try, but your band has so many bad matchups!
The current trend of Helmed Horrrors would doom this band in a match. An Archmage band could hang back and eliminte your fodder until the Medusa can be targeted by 2 Acid Arrows which would elimiate her. Most high save LG bands wouldn't sweat her either.
Your relying upon the low DC Turn to stone save to win you the match. The balance of your squad won't be able to eliminate enough points for you to win!

| | Could go well or could go very badly. Depending on how the gaming spirits like ya on the particular day. Had tourneys were I'd have decimated the band could roll lower than 15 on saves etc or higher than 5 on conceal attempts. Naturally next tourny luck was opposite couldn't roll higher than a 5 on saves (and if i needed a 2 or better i rolled a 1). May have to try her sometime since i've yet to give her a try plus if i have the mini i'm going to at least try it | | Play and have fun, this hobby is an escape from the harsh realities of life | |

| SilverDragonGames, a few queries...
What type of discussion are you looking to foster in this thread? Are you looking for a critique? Suggestions on playstyle? Possible improvements? Have you won many games with it? Have all of your 25 posts included this warband? [:)]

Something like that. And IIRC, when Chris Groves locked the last thread, he specifically told SDG to create more of a discussion-oriented post if he wanted to restart the thread.
You may want to take note of that, SDG, and add some questions/commentary. Otherwise I suspect that this thread will be locked as well. | | Champion of Gnomes | |

Guys,
SDG (assuming this Ryan is Ryan Michalski) is the #1 ranked player in the world. Obviously his understanding far surpasses yours. And as the wise man once said: "Everybody Must Get Stoned".

Targeting the Medusa with ranged attacks can be tricky. Unless, of course, as you suggest, you stay far away. If I recall, the Medusa's ability to turn to stone is only effective within 6 squares.
Gaze Attack: (Replaces attacks: RANGE; EFFECTS AND CONDITIONS; DC [#]) Instead of making its normal attacks, this creature can use its Gaze Attack against the nearest enemy or ally. The target is subject to the listed effect unless it succeeds on a save against the listed DC. In addition, any creature (enemy or ally) within the Gaze Attack’s range that chooses this creature as the target of a ranged attack, ranged spell, or ranged special ability must make a save afterward to avoid the effect of the Gaze Attack.

| | Aye i believe it is range 6 otherwise I think you'd see much more of her because even with a relatively low save (unmodified that is) being able to use it as long as you had LOS would be nasty | | Play and have fun, this hobby is an escape from the harsh realities of life | |

| There are no #1s until I've played them. If you haven't beaten me in a real life game then you don't matter. Either way this warband is gimmicky junk that will win a match every once in a while but has far too many bad matchups to accomplish much. My two Wizard Tacticians launch Empowered Magic Missles at the Medusa. She's dead? Oh, well that's 62 points of goodness for me. Now my Frenzied Berserkers run up and splatter everything else.

| His world ranking is hardly the point.
People post bands here all the time, and regardless of experience or post count they are treated with manners and given the benefit of the boarrd's experience.
