Well, I had played 'reverse' tournament just one time, but it's very memorable event. Especially, making the worst warband was very interesting and challenging. (To tell the truth, that building warband for opponent was more fun than the real game;) )

By the way, our REVERSE tournament's winner(winner?:()'s warband was this warband. Medusa(eekkkk), Ambush Drake(....), Troglodyte Zombie, SpellstichedHobgoblinZombies, Half-Orc Fighters and kobold.
(Actually,I can't remember that exactly.)

What about you? What warband you can proudly introduce for Reverse tounament? I'm also curious what warband can ever worse than that warband. Just challege and show me the way! :)

(Reverse Tournament = Each game match, two player switching their warband and fight. You cannot put the unit that has higher difficult than your commander and your warband's cost must be higher than 198pts. Maybe I am wrong, than you can use official(?) reverse rule.)

Ah, and I feel that the reverse tournament's rule needs some more definitions. You have some ideas for reverse'? please tell me. :)

See my sig for other formats. What we used locally was:

200 Reverse Constructed Assault (non-DCI)

* Warband must be 195-200 points
* Must have at least one and no more than two commanders
* At least one commander must be commander 2 or greater
* All creatures must be under command by at least one commander
Exception: any minions can be out of command
* All games are assault format
* Banned: Stone Golem and all summoners
* No more than one creature of each type (exception, see below)

The only exception about multiples is for any minions, which can match a creature in the band and be multiples (ex. Snig could have 3 goblin minions who are the same and the same as one creature in the band.)

I think this is the latest polished version.

A couple example warbands:

1 Scorpian Clan Drow
1 Orc Sergeant
1 Blackscale Lizardfolk
1 Dire Bat
1 Ankheg
1 Otyugh
1 Bloodhulk Fighter
1 Red Slaad

1 Celestial Black Bear
1 Valourous Prince
1 Werebear
1 Human Crossbowman
1 Paladin of Torm
1 Soldier of Cormyr
1 Anvil of Thunder
1 Lizardfolk
1 Sun Soul Initiate
1 Sage

Any templates or powerful spells are definitely not appropriate for this format. The Ankheg is a very dangerous choice and one that I would not include if playing on tiles or Mushroom Cavern (since he can self damage in the spike terrain then use template attack.)

Why specifically are the Stone Golem and summoner creatures banned? What about limits on creatures? Say no less than 4.

Because they are, point for point, the worst creatures in the entire game.

Actually, it just gives you too much freedom to make them bad. Give them crappy summons, and the points just rack up! Bing! Just too easy. Same with the Stone Golem, too many points for a guy who requires a commander.
