One way to prove the point of the ban is to do a WBC with it. See if anyone can consistently beat it (you know a lot of people will make bands with it, and a lot will make bands without it, both trying to prove their point).

That's basically it; the transposition can be cast on allies, so... If you imagine band with, say, two Drider Sorcerers and two Eye of Gummsh figures, you'll see how hard it will be to effectively play against it. There are so many possible locations that your opponent can move to in a round that you are forced to consider so many positions that the game slows to a crawl. It's just no longer possible to just come up with good estimates of where pieces will be in a round.

I agree. There really aren't any ZOMG! I never thought of *that* power combo! bands, but some really solid, neat concepts. | |

I agree. There really aren't any ZOMG! I never thought of *that* power combo! bands, but some really solid, neat concepts.
