Just pulled a second Xen'Drik Champ.

here's the qustion. Is a second Xen'drik a keeper or trade fodder?

an answer to this qustion and any feedback on the Xen'Drick's usefulness in skirmish would be very helpful.

My thanks to the masses in advance

hold onto it. it is a good piece, even if it isn't(quite) tier 1. with the proper commander, the xendrik could become a powerhouse.

The answer, like the answer to most questions, is that "it depends". If you can get an awesome trade out of it, or fill another need for your set, then I would trade it away. Otherwise, if your set's done and there aren't any awesome trades to be had, it is a Drow in a unique pose, so probably a keeper.

One day, with the right leader and stuff the Xen'Drik champion might be a good piece. Sadly, today is not that day.

All your Xendrik are belong to me.

Keep one ... or maybe two ... else go for six. Three would be an ... inefficient number to own.

I would probably keep it too. With the right commander it could be a lot of fun. Hopefully that commander will be in Wardrums...

I own 5 Xendrick champs, and I'm keeping them all. As everyone else said, this figure just needs a small edge from a good combo to be tier-1.

Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything.

Forgive my lack of knowledge here, but I keep seeing everyone talk about how awesome the XChamp is, and I must have missed the original discussion of why. Does the skirmish damage work on his ranged attack?

No, shirmish damage is only for melee. He would be tier-1 without a combo if it worked for ranged attacks.

It's not only the skirmish that makes the fig worth it's points.
The whole stats make a very cost efective piece. With lvl 9, speed 8 and better-than-average 20 def. and an pts/HP Ration near 2, combined with two good attacks. It's one of the figures that make me thing wow.

He is a cool figure to experiment with. Try a bunch with a Valener commander

All this talk about Xen'Dricks, especially i nthe Warband challenge made me go out and buy some. If you keep your eyes open you can get them for 3-4 dollars each. I think it is a good investment at this time. They are fun to play, and might be pretty darn good if the right synergies come along.

Looking to buy some figures? Chances are I may have them!! Check here!!
