#1
216 HUge red dragon
269 epic mordy
15 orc warrior x5.
200/7.

the mordy pounds the hurt on fastm and th edraogn holds the front lines. the warriors are tiel grabbers and activations. placed 2nd at a local tourny tonight

#2
163 epic justicator
188 steel pred x2
98 lord soth
28 green dragon
20 snig
0 sniglets x3
3 kobold miner

the last 23 points are flexible, but i couldnt think of anything better to add in. the steel preds and soth hammer on everything, then they and the justicator bring the hurt in melee. snig brings activations and useful fodder, while the green draogn grabs tiles.

First 200+ figs are a bad idea, your opponent will hunt them and after one falls, the other will be dead a few rounds later...
Instead of Mordenkainen you could include Balor and Red Sams, or one Formorian.

On the second band I like to suggest that the Green Dragon is worthless because there are a lot of fast hitters in epic with 30 to 50 dam output. Instead of the Justicator you could include 2x Beholder if you have them (but most people didn't.

the first badn i didnt actually build myself, i forgot some of my figures, and had to scrounge someting up, at a friends suggestio ni decided to try out epic mordenkainen, and other than that the only way to fill out the band was the HRD. Normally im not a big fan of the huge figures, save=10 and the lack of certain powerful abilities like cleave, make them far weaker than the epic figures, tho HRD is one fo the few playable ones. the warband was really just an excuse to try out epi cmordy, but it did surprisingly well, mordy is very good IMHO, expecially when paired with heavy hitters. I managed to do enourmous amounst of damage with mordy, and with the Hrd looming, people would usually leav ehim alone. It was when mordy died that i was in trouble. i went 3-1 in a local sanctioned tournament, and lost only to the state champion, who again beat me in finals. Both games were close. Ill admit in theory the band doesnt look good, but it worked for me fr some reason.

As for my other band, no i dont have 2 beholders or i would proabbly be playig them.

Band #1 really doesn't have a chance of winning in the long hual. 2 over 200 point pieces is not a good idea. Your opponent will go after one of them destroy it and then play keep away.

Iron golems will be a great problem for this band

Number two is better. Take out the green dragon and 2 miners and add a durgar champ.

Band 2 gives you a better chance of winning then band #1.
