| ill probably be lynched for this, but im not that big a fan of the zakya rakshasa, it snot bad by any means, but im still not seing why its so amazing lets ompare it to the duergar champ, which cost 3 less, and is uncommon
cost advantage duergar
lvl advantage duergar(lvl 7 is the single biggest obstacle to this fig, especially with gauths around again)
speed advantage zakya
ac even (22 ac and 20 conceal 6 about balance out i believe, any math wizzes out there? [:D])
hit points even
to hit bonues advantage duergar
damage even
type advantage duergar (banishment anyone?)
spell resistance = cleave
blind fight = immune paralysis
true strike = conceal
Chill touch

there's my comparison, and i realy see no serious evidence that the zakya is better than the duergar. anyone want to argue? | |

| You forgot about the Zakya's DR.
On the whole I think the Duergar is a bit better, but I think the Zakya has certain advantages in a lawful-heavy metagame, especially ones with frequent Helmed Horrors or Lawful Evil builds. The Zakya is better against LE than any other faction. He brings enough to the table that its worth running 1 in an LE quad. | |

actually I am pretty much in agreement though they are quite different as far as their abilities go. I like the duergar a little better Though they are priced a little better I would think that being that close of comparison that the rakshasa would cost a few points less especially with the reduction of points due to it being rare. I think he is pretty good in sealed still but in constructed I would definately choose the duergar over him. | |
