I'm convinced that the new Nost is......Phoelarch.
Really.
He is the Least used rare, ever.
He is the Greatest piece of crap, ever.
It is the First piece you would try to unload.
It is the last piece you would want a double of.
I think forest terain, might be useful for unlimited Flame Rays.

| Ambush Drake. Um, no, that's not the super piece in my son's band. I do like the post about running this piece with Shuluth in epic play though--except for all the excellent saves in epic play.

Not so much any more, but in save=10 days, it was close to money. I was playing a guy who had a Storm Giant and I was running Beholders, Ambush Drake, Half-Elf Hexblade. I got both nerfs to stick and he proceeded to make TWENTY SEVEN consecutive saves (including morale)with a nerfed giant before I finally stoned him as time expired. | |

Me either, This is why I started my own warband and have called it MOST(most obvious secret tech). Once you see my warband it is obvious.

| Sometimes, you are just too stuffed to eat your small bread and the butter that comes with it.
Anyway, giving up the Crow Shaman takes away the swift fly for Elminster and the almost garanteed hits from Snake's Swiftness.
You could always go with Crow Shaman x2 + Aramil for more instant attacks and nerfing, but it's no Empowered Magic Missile and Fire Cone for Elminster, plus 1 less activation... | |

I also played a band with three Eyes of Gruumsh against his band. Sadly, with my work schedule, there aren't enough hours in the day to get in many matches. I'll be trying the FBx2/IMx2 band against him for kicks, and I'll try a quad-Gith Monk band against him soon.

I forgot to check some of the combos I could come up with the Phoelarch and the Couatl. I'll have to check it on bifurs tommorow.

Seriously, where is this leading? We've got a LOT of bands and combos on this thread. This is every noob's dream...
Every band has weaknesses. THIS NOST CAN'T BE THAT BETTER THAN ALL BANDS PLAYERS IN THE WORLD THOUGHT OF UNTIL NOW ! It is bound to be a hoax... Pros go with the best odds, period. That NOST can't be metagame changing.
So many good warbands exist. We could be doing this for a LONG while...
Think of all the bands on Merrick's site...

| Lotsa HP could be that silly CE zombie with 100 HP and the Bleeder special ability. I forget what it's called but it's like Wrackspawn bad. That couldn't hurt a HH.
What about a Roper, plenty of HP and the central scoring areas are close enough together to screw with the opponent regardless of setup.
Of course it takes double damage from fire. | |
