| I really want to start seeing those stats [:)]
I have hopes for the Griffon. Perfect CG flavor for a cheap beater - now if only the card backs that up.
That Goliath's weapon is huge! Good potential there, but I'm sure they'll continue the 'All CG's awesome figs are commanders' routine.
Le is getting some shiny new toys .. too many to mention. Looks fun.

To respond to these points:
I, too, hope the Griffon does well. Even as I lament the fact it doesn't have the aesthetic form I want (I wanted it to be a Pegasus, and weep nightly that it isn't!), it hopefully will have everything else I desired. If anything is going to help CG, the Griffon Cavalry or the Spellscale Sorcerer'll probably be the one. That, or the Tavern Brawler is going to be so t-t-t-t-t-totally awesomely rad 2 da MaXxX that it has 'Magical Rapping Skateboard' as an ability that totally redefines Skirmish play.
As far as the "CG's best pieces are Commanders" bit, I'll drink to that. I really wish the Brass Samurai had been a standard Follower, it would've been great. As it is, it's frustrating to try and choose between Ryld, the Greenfang Druid, and Brass Samurai in this field. | | - Irrationally Fanatical Champion of Pegasus-mounted cavalry - Proud member of Team Low Tier Beasting: I play CG as my main faction! - Garland, TX 2006 Qualifier Champion My trading thread: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19725

Trust me on this...Tordak is gonna see a lot of play. Above Average AC, HP and level. High pluses to hits and damage, throw in Drizzit and POW!!! All that and he is under 60pts.

Well there's RPG stats for a doom fist monk in RHoD. Looking at the web enhancement, it might look something like:
Doom Fist Monk WoDQ; LE; Common; 14 pts LVL 6; SPD 8; AC 19; HP 30 Melee Attack: +9 (10 + Constrict) Type: Humanoid (Hobgoblin, Goblinoid) Special Abilities: - Constrict (Large or smaller creature skips next turn; DC 13) - Evade Damage - Stunning Attack [][][] (DC 14)
Not all that exciting to me, and they may not even get all those abilites. | | Champion of the Rakshasa. Check out my Mini Terrain Maker, or my new Dungeon Map Maker (under development).

I'd pay 14 points for that, especially in LE.

| I would hope that the new Blackguard would be a great figure but I just think it will cost too much. It might be costed good...but with all of the abilities I don't think there will be enough points for the rest of a good warband.
So, I'll go with
1)Large Green Dragon 2)Cadaver Collector 3)the small black dragon
(I love LE so it's more of a dream list plus I think the 2 small dragons will see play)

Really, I just made up the 14 points. You can pay 15 points for the Dark Moon Monk, who is fairly similar.
The Talon of Tiamat is a good candidate for the design team adding wacky abilities that don't have an exact analogue in the skirmish game. Red Hand of Doom does include one character with the Talon of Tiamat prestige class. If turned into a mini, he might look kinda like:
Hobgoblin Talon of Tiamat Commander ??? WoDQ; LE; Rare; 60 pts LVL 10; SPD 4; AC 22; HP 70 Melee Attack: +11/+6 (10 magic) Type: Humanoid (Hobgoblin, Goblinoid) Commander Effect: - Who knows? Probably dragon-related, however. Special Abilities: - Breath Weapon [] (cone, 10 cold, DC 16) - Breath Weapon [] (line, 20 acid, DC 16) Sorcerer Spells: 2nd [][] - bull's strength, cure moderate wounds 3rd [][] - cure serious wounds, searing light 4th [][] - air walk (touch; target creature gains flight)
Who knows if it'll be that character or not. What we do know is that it will probably be a cleric (since it's wearing armor, and talon of tiamat has spellcasing progression) and that it will probably have breath weapons, since those are features of the class. | | Champion of the Rakshasa. | I would like to see the following three figures become strong in skirmish.
1.Goliath Cleric of Kavaki 2.Storm Archer 3.Hobgoblin Talon of Tiamat
I also have a feeling that the Dragonborn Fighter, Large Green Dragon, Griffon Cavalry and Ogre Skirmisher will be strong skirmish figures.

| Alright, here we go ...
1) Griffon Cavalry
-I'm picking this one just because one day I was saying to my fiance "Hey, you know what would be a cool mini? An Aglarondan Griffonrider." Yup. It's nice when things just come together.
2) Storm Archer
-This one's pretty dicey, especially since part of his ranged damage is elemental. Nevertheless, this just might be that one archer that won't curl up and die once it gets based. If it's got two attacks in melee for just 10 damage each, I'll be happy.
3) Blackguard on Nightmare
-This might just be that Titan piece LE is looking for. A mobile, yet deadly, commander with Tyrannical Morale +6? Sign me up.
Honorable Mention: Wizened Elder
-You know, I was going to go with a different answer, right up until someone else in this thread pointed out that this creature is only a CR 2 in the Monster Manual, but is a rare. It might be one of those crappy rares we haven't seen the likes of since Aberrations, or ... | | Champion of the Elf Duskblade

I would guess that he has the Goad feat, or something similar. This would allow him to force enemies who fail a save to attack him instead of anything else.
