my hat is off to anyone who attempts a national with Shuluth. All the choices one must make. These are the things i end up thinking about when i play shuluth: When to suck brains or when to mind blast. Get him close to the action, but not too close. Play protective, but not to protective, and sometimes play aggressive. Try to be manuverable with slower creatures. Hope the enemy takes the bait, but not too much of the bait. Use his commander effect to it's fullest extent, but do not rely on it. Stun as many enemies as you can, but do not put shuluth at risk. Furthermore, try to avoid hitting your stunnable allies... It's a lot of fun to play when positioning falls into place for you, but it is a bear when it doesn't. This is the philosophy of Shuluth.

*and now for something silly... I played a CG band w/ 2xclawfoot, netenyar hunter, evermeet wiz, against shuluth, cadaver collector and a bunch of misc stuff. It was humorous in the extreme. The cadaver collector would have looked more like a giant pincushon, then a spikey behemouth. There was a ton of foder units for the cadaver collector to chew on, and it got down right ugly when he was able to start chewing on the clawfeet. I can't remember how it finished, but I think the cg band was the last one standing. I think the cadaver collector got to ac 26. the collector would get close to a hafling only to have his primary target wisked away by the evermeet. shuluth had a lot to chew on too, but he had to be wary of potential arrow volleys. Very very silly.
