| Just a quick poll.
What figure do you think is the best from Wardrums. It can be for stats, skirmish value, sculpt, RPG value, price value (awesome cause its worth so much or even awsome cause it costs so little) or for any reason, just choose that #1 out of 60 pieces. Whats your MVP (most valueable piece) and why (if you feel like explaining, or not as you wish).

| Ouch. Well, I think most people are going to say Sacred Watcher or Orc Wardrummer. I use neither all that often, since CG's my main team. My MVP choice would have to be Brass Samurai. Not quite as good as Ryld or the Greenfang Druid in most cases, but for a dollar, you get a good commander and beater. Considering Ryld and GFD are 10 dollar Rares, this isn't so bad.
Otherwise, I'd vote for Steelheart Archer. | | - Irrationally Fanatical Champion of Pegasus-mounted cavalry - Proud member of Team Low Tier Beasting: I play CG as my main faction! - Garland, TX 2006 Qualifier Champion My trading thread: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19725

| Orcish Wardrummer, absolutely. Imagine a LG piece that gave all members of LG Speed 8? That's effectively what the Wardrummer does for CE... a non-CFX that gives a +4 to one of CE's 2 greatest weaknesses... it's morale saves. Not exactly fearless, but a 20% greater chance of making those morale checks is REALLY big for a hard-hitting, high hp, fast faction. Morale checks were one of CE's weakspots, much like LG faces with it's speed 4. There are other really good pieces in Wardrums, but the wardrummer is, IMO, the one that does the most for its faction. heck, that's why CE bands don't get 8 act/200 points but instead get 7 act, 181 points to build with... | Sacred Watcher is exceptional, Bodyguard brings in a needed new ability, Shuluth is cool with his cfx, Wardrummer is near broken with its abilities removing its factions weaknesses... but the MVP of wardrums of course is...

| My MVP mini from wardrums is the Chimera.
Awesome sculpt, very good stats that no one has been able to successfully build a teir 1 band around, but I think that it will only be a matter of time until someone does. | As an interesting oddity. If you check out my stores price guide (http://gamesters.hobby-site.com/price_guides.php) you will see that the Orc Wardrummer has the lowest resell value for a rare in that set.
Due to how my pricing system works: Floor(Store Average*Factor, .25), Both Orc Wardrummer and Sacred Watcher are tied for the cheapest resale value in their rarity for the set (http://gamesters.hobby-site.com/my_prices.php).
Odd.
For me the MVP would have to be Warforged Bodyguard, because that seems like the best addition to the Marut/Couatl duo. | | My online store http://store.hoardsters.com Use quick search to see scans of every stat card!

| I would say in general the Orc Wardrummer. His save boosting/nerfing abilities make him an almost auto include in CE. Countersong and fearless are just icing on the orcish cake. My personal MVP is Shuluth though. W/ the second most powerful commander effect in the game, he ranks as one of my faves for LE. | The War Troll has more than proven himself for me, but my personal MVP is the Inspired Lieutenant: she's a good Commander, she's mobile, she has excellent special abilities and she has the all-important ability to simulataneously heal herself/harm others. | Heh - lots of good stuff here! The majorty of MVP's (for the OWD ;)) seems to focus on the skirmsh side of things, not that its that supprising heh.
For me? I would have to say the Hill Giant Barbarian. I could always use an uncommon giant/ogre mini for my tabletop games! and his skirmsh stats are not too bad either! I really like Hill giant too - an uncommon nasty.
Rakshasa's are my fav foe to throw at pcs.
But, as where in skirk\mish section, I would go with the bodyguard.

Yes, exactly what I was going to post. When I first saw the Zakya, I thought the level would be the Achilles heel, but that can be worked around. Watcher and Drummer need no explanation, and I don't play CG much, but saw the mephlings go down well in sealed events.
