| Except Lathander is LG, not CG...
And has there been a definitive ruling on whether Chastise Spirits -- which by name targets Incorporeal creatures -- is subject to Incorporeal checks?

| | It is a special ability that produces damage. Incorporeal protects against all sources of damage except for attacks from other incorporeal targets. So Chastise Spirits is effected by Incoporeal. | | I am not gone. | |

I cant point you to a definite ruling but I was corrected on vassal by a majority rule that chastise spirits has to make an incorporeal check mainly beacuse of the definition of incorporeal.

This band is has all the tools to beat the current meta. You have command undead for all those SW. Then on top of that you have incorpreal creatures to take on their creatures. Also most people say this band loses to marut but I have been on fire on Vassal with this same build and Marut can't touch this band. Magic Missle and Command undead take care of most of the Marut couatl bands. Against living bands be aggressive if the Lich makes it into combat he can hold his own and he has 75 HP that is fearless. Also his attack has paralysis. Just a thought but you said you wanted CG but this warband and the Lich command respect. | | Need Miniatures Painted? E-mail me at jeremiahschmidt2002@hotmail.com

1) Cursed Spirits lose to Sacred Watchers. A Sacred watcher needs 1 hits to kill a Cured Spirit. A Cursed Spirit needs 6 hits to kill a Sacred Watcher. 2) Command Undead has a less than 50% chance to steal a Sacred Watcher. While that may allow you to take 1, that also puts you in easy reach of the rest of the Sacred Watchers who will move forward and eat the Lich alive with their 15 damage attacks. 3) The Lich Necromancer's hold monsters do not effect non-living targets. His magic missiles only have a 50% chance of effecting a Marut or a Sacred Watcher.
While you could kill a Marut or SWarm band with this warband you would have to be very lucky, and I don't want to have to rely on luck to win. | | I am not gone.

| Would you do LG if it was "different"?
Couatl (not different yet) Mephling (yah yah) Dragon sam (oh, outta no where) Cleric of the order Sacred watcher standard bearer timber commoner
making the samurai fly 8...ac 26 or lvl 12 save or both if ya take yer time...3 attks...alright only 11/11/6 but, the SW could be a flanker...that's 60 possible around with SS..hrm..that's what kord can do...ok, but the sam is harder to hit, and doubling his move would be worth a laff, but not your DCI rating i guess..;)
gettin swarmed would hurt..;)
ok, CG, i do like the dragonne option, too bad i didn't have enough before the niles qualifier or i'd have leaned that way... | | Succesfull trades: Lowix (wotc), Kaya Kenobi, Halstan (wotc), Spikegif x 2, minatoman38, sidious515 (wotc) Pending:

| I actually think a revised Displaced Aggression would do rather poorly in this enviroment. Marut's would eat it alive.
And I don't think Turn Undead would work against Sacred Watchers... They have Fearless apart from their being Undead. I could be wrong, in which case might want to try:
Cleric of Lathander 27 Combat Medic x2 56 Justice Archon x3 96 Warforged Scout 7 Aramil 13
Dragonshrine
199 points 8 activations

| I vote for Multi Zakya. Play an uber Marut hate band. Pwn the crap out of the Sacred Watchers. Pair the 4x Zakya with a Human Black and your good to go. They are freakin awesome figures, I havnt had the time to run it. You'd smash all those darn Marut bands. 60 pts of Near auto damage, then 1 more hit = death for the Marut. And with +7 to MC when in command of the CoY for those SW's is not fun. But fun for you..
Either that..or 3x Death Slaad.
If you couldnt tell im telling you to play a hate warband for a few reasons.
1) You asked :P 2) They are actually very good hate warbands that CAN deal with other warbands fairly well 3) I want you to :P
And you cant steal my Archmage Throne. So no playing Archmage for you :P. Unless you plan to qualifiy with it, then go for it :D | | Welcome to Eternal Crack... "Corn is no place for a mighty warrior!" Champion of the Frost Salamander
