Why force players to play more quickly, Shivan? Because that's one test of skill.
Two players consider options in a game, then come up with the best decision.
Player 1 requires 2 minutes. Player 2 requires 5 minutes.
All other things being equal, Player 1 is a more skilled player. Yes or No?
Thats not my point. In fact it PROVES my point. What I was saying was that if one play intentionally plays quicker than he or she normally would to make sure that the game comes to a conclusion because he or she is playing a notoriously slow opponent this is a handicap on the player trying to play quickly and an unfair advantage that the slow player is taking. | | 13th Place at the 2005 DDM Championship in GenCon | |

Sorry for the question in Niles, but, your match with the other MN looked to be more than plenty over when I asked you a question - won't happen again (assuming that was aimed in my direction[:)]).

Yep, I would agree with that. To be honest, despite being addressed at you, it was more a general statement/question to everyone, (but I did want you to poke a response at it, hence picking your name in the address line). Sorry for any misunderstanding.
