| The Yuan-Ti Halfblood Sorcerer's confusion spell requires the affected creature to save at the end of its turn. Does this mean it gets to activate normally and then make a save for next round?
For that same creature's venom bolt, does the single saving throw account for both acid damage and stun?
Thanks! | | | |

| Spells such as this require an immediate save, and then saves again at the end of each turn.
So, some figure casts confusion. The target saves. Let's say the target fails. Eventually its turn comes up. You roll on the table to see what the target does. At the end of this turn, you roll again to see if it saves. If so, the confusion is done, if not, you consult the table again when this figure gets its next turn.
I'm not looking at the card right now, but, generally, there's one save. If there is damage listed on the card, then that save means half-damage from that damage, and, no stun. If the save is failed, then, both full damage and stun.

| From Guy at the WotC boards:
See the glossary definition of "save at the end of each affected creature's turn" in the War Drums rulebook. (An affected creature *does* get an initial save; notice how the first sentence of that glossary definition refers to the initial save.) | | Lance Hawvermale -- Writer/Editor, Necromancer Games Completed Trades: 67 My Vision Quest: www.lancehawvermale.com | |
