| | For the second one, Gith monks are always problem, however the warwaever can help lessen the impact of monks with a well placed Dimension Hop, and you only need to do 30 before a gith monk does a moral save, which is why the golden protector is handy with its 25 fire damage cone if they are using a young master instead of a couatl. | |

cleric of order
filler.
the cleric gives a commander 5 with some good spells, and is a second peice to work the ballista. and as only an uncommon, it shouldn't be totally ungettable if you don't have one. | |

Adds an increase +1 ac and +1 saves to everything, and adds the cleric of yondalla to increase commander rating and moral saves as well as adding 2 tile grabbers | |

| Also working on some high damage warbands using the golden protector, came up with these:
Couatl
Marut
Golden Protector
Warweaver
Timberwolf x2
200pts 6 activations
Granted its 6 activations, but the warweaver can give both the Marut and Couatl and a Timberwolf magic weapon, as well as giving both timberwolves +5 damage, and the Golden Protector really decimates CE and LE warbands with Holy Smite and Fire Breath.
Another variation is this:

Golden Protector
Cleric of Yondalla
Warforged Bodyguard
Man-at-Arms x2
200pts 7 activations
Instead of the warweaver adds Kord with a Bodyguard and the cleric of yondalla to increase initiative and give magic weapon to the golden protecotr. | |
