| Which of the previewed BW figures seems like it has the most skirmish potential to you? Why?
To me, the most interesting new piece is the Marilith. She has a lot of damage potential (60 in a round, or 90 with a +5 damage enhancement), a high attack bonus (+15 for each attack) and a lot of survivability. With melee reach 2 and enhanced mobility 2, she can actually get off all of those attacks on a fairly regular basis. She'll be a nasty piece... and fun to build around (after a repaint). | | Champion of Meepo _*_ Myztek on the Wizards Boards. _*_ (2206 DDM on 03/06/06) Please note: The use of the indicates an attempt at humor ... often a bad attempt. | | Mine would be Horned Devil. Lvl10, 100+ hp, 25 damage + stun on every attack + melee reach 4 + Dimension Door. If the other stats are good enough, and the stun DC is high enough, the Horned Devil could be very scary. | | Champion of the Sarrukh

| I'll jinx myself and say the Horned Devil. It looks awesome and when they compare it to the Ice Devil it sounds like the physical combat devil of choice.
There are really too many figures that look good so I may even try collecting the entire set.

| I dunno- none of the pieces revealed have really blown me away with any of their skirmish abilities ... yet. I'm sort of curious about what the mounted Valenar can do, in addition to the various devils and demons in the set.
I just hope Storm Silverhand is viable in skirmish- CG needs the help. | | Champion of the Elf Duskblade

| | im really interested in seeing how the evil spellcasters will work out. currently the good spell buffers are much more effective than anything evil has to offer with spells, and hopefully their focus on making effective, and cost worthy spell casters will prove successful | | Champion of Manshoon of the Zhentarim addict of orcs, ogres, and anything that smashes | |

| The Ice Devil, definitely. While I admit that it sounds like the article for it and the Horned Devil was typed in difficulty to attempt to make the Horned Devil not give the impression of "alwalys choose this mini over this other one", I would think that it probably has a couple tricks that would put it on a true par with the Horned Devil if the metagame(correct terminology?) requires that a far less amount of straight combat is needed to make any decision of how a match is to turn up. Ya never know...................
Also, between devils and demons, for me devils are held in far higher regard, out of them the Ice Devil being favourite one. In fact, I've already pre-ordered two of them and a Pit Fiend. Pity they don't have the Horned Devil on pre-order. I would have ordered one, it being my second favourite devil. Oh well, maybe I'll get one in a booster. Probably will. Specifically evil-heavy sets are usually chock full of good karma for me. Just no Githyanki Knights. I don't want to deal with pulling Red Dragons. | | Champion of the Prismatic Golem

| | I really want to the the succubus stats. | If Fireballs and Blasphemy have good damage output Pit Fiend can be really playable..... Horned Devil sounds good but I very worried that maybe he can have only one attack .... I hope that can be 2.
Ice Devil sounds very good but Duble Damage from fire take it very vulnerable to Fire Belchers..... in other hand He have Ice damage that hurt Belcher a lot.
In LG I think that the Second Inevitable (The Kolyarut) have very good potencial, the same with Thundertusk Cavalry. In CG we need to wait only for Storm Silverhand and Valenar Nomad Charger, but we dont know if this set have CG potencial units ..... not yet......
In CE is indiscutible....We will see a lot of Mariliths Fighting in the maps (Sorry but the ugly miniature hurts) I hope to see good epic stats cards in epic especialy Githyanki Dragon Knight and Vlaakith, the Lich Queen. We cant forget about "Dolorous blow" the orc wizards can improve the damage output of Heavy powerfull epics units like Fomorian. I waiting that CE and LE find in Mezzoloth and Nicoloth, medium costed hitters like Duergar champions..... This guys can be good companions of Pit fiend or good hitters for CE warbands.
Thats all .... Amen | | Dealing with new life... new country and life without DDM :( Some day I will be back in board

Marilith will also be quite formidable. And I have high hopes for the Githyanki Dragonknight (despite his ridiculous cost). | | Daezarkian Demonic Accountant

| | The Devils, Demons, Large Water Elemental & Gargoyle. For skirmish, it'd have to be the Cornugon.
