| | 97 pts on RW + Dragonmark is too much. You´d better go with Pit Fiend for the 2 Fireballs. RW costs too much. | | VINDICATED Champion of the Mounted Blackguard

| Fixed the title.
I think that the Red Wizard is still too squishy. I'll have to look at that bodyguard--maybe the Gauth or Efreeti will get better.
Edit: Yeah, it's looking like a nice match for the Chraal/Efreeti bands that could be built.
Wonderful piece of anti-Firebelcher, anti-Chraal and/or anti-Stormlizard (or whatever it's called) tech.

| | I really like the potential of the orc wizard with the red wizard. You can use the ram to deal an auto 10 dmg and move the creatures basing the red. Still, the red is costed high | | http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12270 | |

| The Red Wizard is still too fragile a piece (although I would dearly like to see him work). You would spend way too many points to try and gain the energy protection and Bodyguard at the same time.Â
But you never know....

| Still waiting paitiently for my Red Wizard epic card. He will live again.
Still, I'll probably play around with Red Wizard, Dragonmarked Heir and a bunch of weenie spellcasters again. I have a band that used a Githyanki Fighter with the Red Wizard. The new bodyguard is about an even swap. It would be fun to try, anyway. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

| | I doubt the red wizard will be helped much by this set. There *are* some interesting older LG/LE pieces that I think become much more viable thanks to the Heir, but that's not one of them. | | Anson on WotC boards | |

| The Red Wizard may live again, but he won't live long He's got too much of a bulls-eye on him, and even with the right help, he'll be easy to kill. Cool piece and all, but a lot of those early spellcasters and archers will never see the light in competitive play - unless new stat cards are issued for them (again, won't happen unless we're talking epic). | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |
