I think the Non-Epic Balor still has a place in Epic play
where red tide can mighty helpful for CE with those low comnader rattings.
While fireballs and blasphemy may be fun, with the number of fire
immune
creatures out there, not to mention Blasphemy is only good 50% of the
time, the use of both spells is becoming more and more limited.
I’ll
personally take the key late round initiative wins, and if enslave works so much he
better.Â
