| Urthok Snig Sniglets x3 Goblin Skirmisher Acheron Goblin x3 Bugbear Footpad Greenspawn Sneak
11 activations, 100pts The Acherons hit for 15dmg each when bolstered and under command hit for +11 and can take 30 damage a piece.
Now dropping the Footpad and the skirmisher and upping the game to a 200pt match allows space for the Forgepriest for magic weapon and credible threat and a Chraal to attach to Urthok (and for area effect damage). Just don't leave him beside the Giant if he bursts.

| Hmm, I like this, lots of goblins, lots of damage, and a fire giant. Plus you can present two different elemental immunities depending on what your're facing, also good. VP should be easy, since sending one or two acheron's plus sniglets after enemy point grabbers will deal with them quickly enough. The remaining acherons can actually present a fairly credible threat under command, and can provide good flanking etc.
One thought would be to drop the chraal for a bodyguard, it looses some melee power, but gains in survivability. Plus it helps the fire giant out against cold damage, or, if your not facing any of that, can make Urthok more resistant as well.
All in all a fun band I'd like to try. | | Call me: W.N. Gobo! originally posted by grim: While he is clearly insane, he does have a point.

I think that is a great idea. Makes the giant immune to cold and gets rid of the requires commander creature.
I think i might have to try this out or at least a version of it. I have been thinking of a goblin warband for a little while. | | Champion of the Brainstealer Dragon Desert of Desolation Called Shot: Medium Brown Dragon ***Winner of WBC VIII and XII***

| | The bodyguard is an obvious boon. I was more or less vying for area damage with the chraal. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | | I was waiting for this idea to pop up in a dozen iterations. The Acheron Goblins are just too obvious a team with Snig. My first thought was a Beholder (just cuz Beholders are fun), but the forgepriest is probably better. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |
