| I,m completely sure I,m not the only one worried about the retro-epic cards.Drittz,archmage,golden protector,nerull,soth....They really sucks in epic mode.Why if they,re the strongest in roleplaying?Why they have poor status epic cards?I have the archfiends aspects and I really hope WotC will make good epic cards to them.I do not ask they make them overpowered,only make them playable.I ask good retro epics for my dust-covered archfiends minis. | |

| I wouldn't say it is unlikely that they'll make Archfiends Aspects Epic Cards. They just made one for Drizzt. The first one they made was for Aspect of Lolth. The Aspects are one of the most requested/discussed options. I would not be suprised to see Demogorgon, Orcus or Bane get an Epic card in the next year... or even to see a few of those guys get epic cards. It is a nice way to say, "We know that some of you have been dedicated customers for a while... we'll occasionally give you guys a special thank you."
However, I imagine that the 'old' epic cards will start to thin out soon. It may get to a point where only 1 of 4 cards is from a set older than the most recent 3 sets... | |

| @ iluvxtina, Im completly agree a lot of retro epics sucks........ Ao Lolth is useless, Ao nerull is very resistent but dont cause damage, Mordekainen dont have place here with not unlimited spells and a lot elemental damages......... About Drizzt and his panther I think that this unit have really good power and be good to be usable. EPIC Golden Protector is good unit have really good powers....considering Swift Heals and Dismisal (A lot of outsiders). We need to wait until WoTC make retroepics of more Aspects.
@ Ghendar, I dont know how you can say that is "unlikely" the Aspects...... A lot of person, including ME, are waiting for a long time for the Archfiends retro epics.
Im, personally, waiting for Angelfire retro-Epics....... Mina, The dark Cleric, Steel Predator, maybe the Chain Devil, Hezrou, Ulmo, Crusader of Corellon and other awesome units.

| | the best thing would be for them to get into releasing two epic cards a month. one from the new set, to get new collectors to play competatively, and one from a pre-epic set, to make long time collectors happy and reward them for their faith and dedication. | |

| Pre-Dairy Queen, the Aspect of Bane got great use in my 500-pointers. He hits reliably and his Aura of Fear rocked in the Save=10 era. He wasn't a primary beater, he was the piece you moved up to force moralewith thepenalties.
The Aspect of Llolth made a slight comeback fairly recently too when LG first rose, but too many LE quads and the CE's resurge kept her from making a big dent in 200. | |

| | Not every figure deserves to be made epic. And if plans are that the game will be around long term just how quickly should the past figures be made epic. Only a few figures absolutely beg to be made epic - Orcus, Demogorgon, Bane, Ryld, Medusa (new figure preferable), Beholder, King Snurre (yeah I know he only epic legal as is but c'mon make his figures match up with current game). Beyond these I don't know of many figures that should be made epic let alone "need" to be made epic | |

| The question for me is not these cards should be released (but they should be released,indeed) ....the matter is that these epic cards will be good in skirmish (I do not ask they will be broken,only they will be playable nowadays).But seeing the other retro epics,I think WotC won,t release good retro epics for demogorgon and bane... | |
