I'm staring at the maps, and I'm just not sure. Which one provides the most confined movement? I want to advance down narrow passages and reduce my opponent's chances to use ranged attacks and breath weapons, and also to protect against fast creatures who can swing 'round back and ding my rear echelon. thanks!!

Drow Outpost, if you can get to the bridge first.

Drow Outpost, if you can get to the bridge first.

Drow outpost has the best choke points but isn't very good for slowing down or stoping ranged attacks and breath weapons. I like it for that very reason, get your titan to the bridge and control it while your snipers stay on the other side of the chasm plinking away at the enemy.
With the dwarf sniper you can get a first round shot off almost anywhere on drow outpost.

That map also doesn't do much good against thwarting ranged attacks.

Forest Cliff Lair is pretty open, but protects against ranged attacks well. Forest on the other side, narrow passages on the other and a waterfall that gives conceal 11 against ranged attacks.

Drow Outpost - best choke point map.Â

Hellspike - IMO the best map versus ranged attacks without Blindsight.Â

Mithirl Mines - Lots of narrow passages, tough on ranged bands.Â

Mushroom Cavern - Could be tough on ranged bands, start areas very cloe to gether, flyers can get to your ranged attacker very easily and quickly.Â

Forrest Cliff Layer - Can be a problem for ranged attacks 1) through the waterfall, 2) if you start on the woods side.Â

Hope this helps.Â

Cheers.
