I'm now in the process of updating for Unhallowed. It's going to take a while.

Let me know if the new format is too hard to read. If so, what changes would help make it readable again? I'll do what I can to adjust.

Here is where I'm compiling lists of followers who can benefit when a Rakshasa steals commander effects that benefit only specific followers. Please let me know if you see anything I'm missing on any list. It's a big job, so it'll be easy to miss some:

Looks like I'm going to have to split those lists up into separate posts. I tried to edit one of the lists (noticed that Grimlock shouldn't be on the humanoid list, since it's a monstrous humanoid), but trying to edit really chokes the system. Those tables just have too much html behind them. I'll see if I can get around to that tomorrow and make a whole new thread.

Under stolen from Elminister, you list the Blue, but I thought Elminister's commander effect didn't work on psionics. Maybe thats just his spell mastery SA.

Your animal list has a few ommissions: the Druid of Obad-hai can summon the Hunting Hyena, Hunting Cougar, and Giant Frog as animals although I think you hit all the magical beasts. Note that the Manticore is Difficult 5 and thus not subject to the Rak's command. To simplify so lists I'd recommend dropping anything that requires the commander who's effect you are stealing to benefit the followers. Maybe your opponent plays a Red Wizard but without your own you will not have access to several minis on the list. There may be more mistakes/oversights but it is a good list of what the Rakshasa can do with certain command effects.

Thanks for the catches. I removed the Manticore and added the Hunting Cougar and Hunting Hyena. The Giant Frog, however, is wild. There's two reasons I don't want to simplify the list by removing unusual circumstances like having to have your own Red Wizard to pull in certain creatures who can benefit if you're stealing an enemy Red Wizard's commander effect. The first is completeness. The second is that this list becomes a handy reference for if you're running these other LE commanders. And yes, Hides, Elminster's commander effect does boost the DC even of psionics. He just doesn't get to add psionics spells to his own spell list through mastery of spellcasting.

Oddly, the Iron Golem does not have mention of a sword on the D&D Quick Reference card, so even though it is quite obviously wielding a sword in the sculpt,it can't gain the benefit of the CoE's commander effect via the Rakshasa I think Iron Golem still quaifies. You only check the RPG stats if in doubt Errrata: While most miniatures clearly show what weapon the creature is wielding, if there's any doubt, flip the card and check the D&D roleplaying statistics. I'll post and ask Guy. Bugger. It's not a sword, because there is doubt (or question wouldnt be asked) and there is no sword on RPG card. [guy] Champion of Eilistraee / Iron Golem
