I'm sure this is an old question, hopefully it wasn't answered in some obvious place. I tried to find it from work and was unable to.
Does life drain do additional damage to living targets? Or does it only heal the attacker? (10 + life drain) would be 10 total or 20 in the case of the kolyarut?
Looking to buy some figures? Chances are I may have them!! Check here!!

From the card:
Life Drain 10
(If target is a living creature, this creature gains +10 hp (maximum 70 hp))
There's nothing there that would add to the melee damage. Kolyarut does 10 per hit.

so wouldnt the defender take 10hp melee and 10hp (up to 70) drain every hit?
Thanks, realmaster. Let's split up!!!!!

Some critters are immune to the Life Drain, so the attack would still do 10 Magic, but the Koly would gain no life.
Another reason it's written like that is if a CFX increases the Koly's Damage output (Example HOP giving it +5 Damage vs Lev 7 or higher foes), the Koly still only gains the 10 HP.

Nowhere in this definition does it say anything about the target taking damage.
