Keeping up with the 2 game limit here it goes again:

one:
me-
mezzoloth
efreeti
urthok
duergar champ
soulknife infiltrator
greenspawn sneak
acheron gobo

opp-
storm
shadowdancer
shadowdancer
gnome trix
slayer of domiel
fodder

map:keep of the fallen king

I hate shadowndancers! my opp should too after this match

rnd one-
hide urthok in the mass of my wb behind the inner wall, opp invis and moved

rnd two- I lost init and had to go first.  tried to coax the dancers out with my "squishy" effreeti last round but he didn't bite so i moved him back behind the wall and stalled with the gobo.  He moved up to and around the corner.  I was able to double move my greenspawn and target him with Kill cloud from the mezzoloth, hitting both dancers, storm, slayer- everyone save once dancer saves(my opponent forgot the target ally rule and didn't want an AoO to make his figure visible).  Dancers hit the shadows and one hit and one miss vs the flanked mezzoloth.  Based one dancer with double move by duergar and hid urthok.  Storm silver fired mezzo and gobo and slayer based Mezzoloth.  Moved infiltrator up behind the gobo for rnged sneak against a dancer and hit and set up for the charge next round.  He moved a fodder piece to block the charge and brought the gnome up for ss next round.

rnd three: won init
mezzo hit dancer, urthok moves up so mezzo is in command,  shadow dancer hit, slayer hit, failed moral on mezzo, dancer hit with AoO leaving him at 5hp and almost out of command range.  duergar smash smash injured dancer, cleave onto slayer, efreeti blasts fodder for soulknife charge but it makes save (royal gaurd), SS for the slayer and rolls a one, moves fodder to block charge again.  I move soulknife behind wall for another hidden shot to kill fodder. remaining dancer jumps to flank with duergar and rolls a one again.  My opponent concedes.

round 2- try to build a moderate warband to not scare off my buddy and hopefully get in a third game:

vlakkith
orc champ
redspawn
wardrummer
cursed spirit
2 orc skelts
orc warrior

opp-
solar
kolyrut
2 sacred watchers
2 lg fodder with phalyix fighting (can't remember name, never see them played)

grotto

i won't say much... round two fireball, round three paralisis on solor and it was based with the orc champ so my opponent conceded after that 100dmg

only 2 games again
----------------------------------------------------------------------

warband analyis:

shadowdancers still don't impress
LE "quad" with soulknife is viable
Solor = loss if slaying arrow doesn't work
Vlakkith + wardrummer and cursed spirit = lots of dmg

pieces:
Soulknife: perfect back up hitter.  works at range, works at charge, w/Le att boosts he's solid
Shadowdancer: still hasn't impressed me in masse.  One is good but too squishy.
Vlakkith: it was short and sweet and painful for my opponent.
mezzoloth: if he doesn't run, he's solid, if he does: not worth his points.

Rock Bottom Pricing:
Arcane Archer 30, Centaur Hero 67, Human Cleric of Bane 25, Gold Champion 34, Death Knight 52, Goblin Blackblade 9, Silentwolf Goblin 7, Orc Raider 10, Dwarf axefighter 9, Healer 9, Thaskor 65, Aspect of Demogorgon 71, Ogre 9, Fire Giant 79, Human Wanderer 7, Drunken Master 18, Barghest 12, Longstider Barbarian 27, Longtooth Barbarian 22, Frost Giant 76, Ravenous Vampire 42, Large Earth Elemental: priceless

Thanks for posting these every week, I don't always have time to play alot of games so its nice for detailed reports on what the status on all sorts of current pieces and bands are.

I am a nerd, originality and strangeness are good. Blind conformity and stupidity are unforgiveable. All else said, DnD FTW!!

The Vlaakith's paralysis is great when it works. Contrarily, I killed a Vlaakith with a Solar's slaying arrow once, in the second round of a game, and that was it for my opponent.

kinda feast or famine with both those commander titans...

I see Vlakkith becoming viable in the future... Solor just plain costs too much...
