| Title says it all. For bragging rights, post your best band (200-point) that contains a Githyanki Dragon Knight. And, for grins, tell us why it's so good.

| Meh, No one else has given it a shot, so why not:
Githyanki DK Mounted Drow Patrol x2 Tiefling Captain Orc Wardrummer Orc Warrior Timber Wolf
200/7
Never played it, but it's a bit of a different play style than the typical charge and destroy CE warband. It's all about hit and run. The real downfall I see would be with Shadowdancers. The MDP needs a map with a lot of walls to enable its wall walker ability, which would probably benefit the Shadowdancers more than the MDP. Looks like it'd be a lot of fun anyway. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang So, you stand at your grave, Has your soul yet been taken away? I love the reaction I get taking this band out. Its like, Well, shit. Not if I have Fire Resistance.Â
I'd be thinking more along the lines of "What, is he nuts or something. Only 3 activations." But I'll bet its a lot of fun the play that warband.Â
I was also wondering about playing 3-4 Githyanki Dragon Knights in Epic play.Â
Something like:
GDK 98 GDK 98 GDK 98 GDK 98 Vlaakith 79 Small Fire Elemental 8 Small Fire Elemental 8 Quaggoth Slave 10
8 activations Small Fire ELementals for BW / FB targets.

That is exactly the band I've thought about playing. It's not easy coming up with an 8-activation band that has the support it needs, so I went with this one too. Time to find another one, so I have something to post.

| I don't know that this is my best one, but it could be fun.
Githyanki Dragon Knight Rask Cleric of Gruumsh Orc Wardrummer Hyena Orc Warrior x2
The Cleric of Gruumsh is usually a poor choice. But, giving the GDK and Rask Cleave could be fun (of course, with speed 4, pulling off this commander effect could prove challenging).
More in an moment.

| Okay, here we go.
Githyanki Dragon Knight Drow Arcane Guard Tiefling Captain Orc Wardrummer Swarm of Spiders Cursed Spirit Troglodyte Hyena
The Drow Arcane Guard has Conceal 11, a very effective fire cone, and a nice little barrage of 5-point damage spells (that ignore SR). The Swarm of Spiders, for those who haven't checked in a while, never takes more than 5 damage from any single attack, and, as a wandering monster, can often reduce the effectiveness of enemy archers. The Cursed Spirit adds another 50% miss piece to the group, and offers a -2 to adjacent enemy saves. The Troglodyte adds another -2 to saves, but also to attacks and AC (making things easier on the GDK).
So, against a particularly robust and resilient enemy, the Cursed Spirit and Troglodyte are reserved until the GDK is going to make a move for an attack which ought to result in a morale save. The Trog and Cursed Spirit should, if possible, be moved into adjacent positions (not too hard for the Spirit) on the same phase. The GDK can then fly in, deliver an attack while still in flight, hopefully force a morale save at -8 (thanks to the Wardrummer, Spirit and Trog working together), and retreat. If the attack succeeds and the morale save does as well, then, at worst, you've got 18 points of critters basing a tough enemy. And, with some luck, you still have the Drow Arcan Guard within 12 squares so it can move 6 and toss an orb in there for a little more damage.
Could work, but it does rely pretty heavily on the GDK and will have trouble against constructs and undead.
