| That's hilarious...Â
Though, has there been any clarification regarding the Eldritch Chain Spell? I mean - if there is no valid secondary target, can you still cast the spell? If not, then a single FGFP without support could probably just walk over a band like that... | | A Proud Gelatinous Dude

| | There will always be a bad match-up somewhere. Shadowdancers would be pretty rough on the Red Wizard. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| | Why would clarification be necessary? It's a range 6 spell. The way it's worded in the spoiler, it clearly still targets one and only one enemy. It just happens to do damage to a 2nd enemy that fits a certain criteria. If no enemy fits that criteria, then it would obviously only do damage to the target of the spell. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

I agree that's how I expect it should work, but I can see an argument for the other case as well. | | A Proud Gelatinous Dude

It's actually a pretty cool idea for a warband, if even three warlocks chain one target thats 45 damage.

| | It is a cool idea, but I'm quite certain it will die a horrible death, just like every Red Wizard band before (well, since summoners got nerfed, anyway). Back when you could do 12 activations, a buddy of mine ran a Red Wizard with 11 Deathlocks against me (yup, only 195 points, but it was all in fun). Similar idea, it was supposed be a gattling gun of powered up magic missiles. But, of course, even 11 Deathlocks can't provide enough blocking to protect the Red Wizard for long. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

| Thanks for your comments, Im really happay that you fun with this warband.
I think that is just fun, not competative ... Red Wizard can be wiped out by an Shadow dancer in the first round. Other Spell caster for Red Wizard??? YES the caller of darkness..... but have low saves and fewq damages spells, The RedSpawn Arcanix sounds good, but Its really OverCosted, I think.... | | Dealing with new life... new country and life without DDM :( Some day I will be back in board | |
