| Hi All, I thought I'd share a cool idea some of our group is going to try out that we're calling Bloodbath (1000)
We're going to put two maps side-by-side and have four people create a one thousand point warband each. You're allowed twelve figures instead of eight and as long as they're not icons, anything goes.
There are no victory points and there is no time limit and it is not an officially sanctioned game, but it sure is fun making up such a powerful army.
Obviously, there are certain rules that needed changed a little, but all in all it seems like it should work out. Other than the fact that there will be dozens of creatures and possibly several duplicates all on the board at once, we think it should run smoothly.
Oh yes, last "man" standing wins. But, that doesn't mean alliances can't be made or broken, ; ^ )

| Yes, these games can get very very weird. I suggest making it team play and being careful about starting locations of each player. Also assault is not entirely senseless either. Have you considered playing it oldstyle with vanilla white map and tiles? Last man standing in DDM leads to people turtling and game basically coming to halt. However, i know this from 500/200.

| When I have done similar styled battles with 3/4 players, we use VP's. often for normal games we fight to detah, but we do find VP's in thius case encourgaes everyone to get into it, ie a player cant hold off and try clean up scraps.
We also used two maps (either both maps of fallen kings, or two teleport temples) or used tiles from benimotos site to covers a table with terrian. That style was lots of fun as it made for random terrian, and you had to plan in your warband to have at least a couple medum sized and ranged or risk being screwed.
With anything goes, does that mean any faction or standard warband building? ('sides from 12 limit?) | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer."
