| OK, since I'm bored, here's my ideas for stats from preview 3:
Scorrow
CE ~30 points
HP ?
AC?
Speed? (speedy, 6+)
Level/save ?
Melee Attack +12/+12/+10(15/15/5 + Poison)
Type: Monsterous Humanoid (drow)?
Special Abilities:
Grab and Sting (if two of this creature's melee attacks hit, the third is a natural 20)
Poison (effect? damage?)
Trained Carrion Crawler
LEÂ or LE/CE (know it can go with dark naga, and dark naga can't pull in large abberations)
HP (better than first one)
AC (probably the same as first one)
Speed (still the same)
LVL (somewhat higher)
Melee Attack +?/+?(? plus paralysis)
Type: Large Abberation
Special Abilities
Paralysis (DC15)
(+2 DC to paralysis when flanking)
These look reasonable? Any tidbit I missed? | |

| No, it was forty using the claw/claw/sting routine with claw and grab, and fifty if the routine was claw,sting, claw. Here's how i arrived at my numbers.
Let x = damage done by claw attack, and y = damage done by sting attack.
Then:
1) 2x + 2y = 40 (two claw hits and a crit from the tail)
2) x + y +2x = 50 or 3x + y = 50 (claw, tail, crit from claw)
Solving for y in 2) gives
3) y = 50 - 3x, which plugged into 1) gives:
2x + 2(50 - 3x) = 40
2x + 100 - 6x = 40
-4x = -60
4) x = 15
plugging 4) into 3) gives:
y = 50 - 3(15)
y = 50 - 45
y = 5
So its a textbook math word problem- the first time I've ever encountered one outside of a textbook IRL 
Of course this is assuming I interprited the preview correctly. | |

| I'd go with speed 8... large and speedy would at least mean 8...and the sting/third att would be 5 (15+15+ (5x2=10)=40)... if you change up the order of att's you can get 50 (15+5+30=50)...
Anyone have an ebberon book handy for a Scarrow's poison??? Hope it's con so it just does strait dmg... not enough good poison dmg pieces out there and CE has good save nerfs and poison boosts with no one to use them with...

Could be fun with 1-2 of these a yuan-ti and a wardrummer...i'd say three but large bases are a problem... Debilitating poison could be fun too with a negative to att and ac... please someone with a home library help me out here...
Also could be fun in he was a little underpowered in the other stats (Hp and Lvl) for cheaper and still have good beats...

Dark Nagas and Hobgoblins were mentioned being used with the carrion crawler, I believe it's LE. Use the sewer map, and possibly summon a cursed spirit, then flank... you could also use Aspect of Hextor to gain the flank or use the Hexblade to curse the target. | |

| The carrion crawler is 28 points. he mentions using 5 (140) with a dark Naga (41) and having just under 20 (19) points left for fodder.

Thanks. I almost typed it up using a matrix, but the columns would get kinda messy. Although here's what the first step would look like:
