| This just popped into the old noggin'.
Imagine a Sealed event where everyone gets one WotDQ booster and one booster from another set that contains some epics. (I'd go with Bloodwar.)
The rules would be as follows.
1) Epic-legal maps only 2) 500-point warbands 3) If you have one or more epic creatures in your band, 8 activation limit 4) If you have no epic creatures in your band, no activation limit

| Barring an Archmage, any guy who doesn't pull an epic creature is toast in this format (my 8-16 activations will not be able to overcome the guy who pulls Bahamut, Tiamat, epic Tordek). In the WotDQ prerelease, remember they guaranteed everybody an epic creature with the HF Spider repaint.
I do like the idea of an epic sealed from two different sets though. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| Probably, anyone not running an epic is toast. Sure. That's why I went with Bloodwar (lots of epics). But, with one WotDQ booster each, everyone will at least pull an epic (whether they pull one they want to run is another story).
So, now the question is, what combo of pieces, all non-epic, from one WotDQ booster and one other booster will produce a band that stands a snowball's chance against the killer epic pieces?

| | Actually, I think the key could be to bring the subsequently released epic cards via the monthly prize kits. While the Dread Wraith and Raistlin are certainly dangerous, the Storm Archer is equally potent and much easier to pull since it's just an uncommon. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| It would be interesting. But WoDQ is such a luck of draw for sealded I dont think you can overcome it.
