I don't know from a "which one has the best chance of winning standpoint", but I prefer the third because I like warband concepts that might require a little more finesse. The other thing I like is getting ahead, and staying ahead. I suppose the Large Gold Dragon can offer the latter as well.

I agree with thenameless, I prefer to have my eggs in separate basktes, and more precision bands. So, the third.

I'm not sure the Bralanis can pull it out.

Opposing Bralanis always died in 2-3 rounds.

I'd go for the dragon.

I wish now I had seen this before Saturday. My poor son didn't know that the LGD's champion power could be exploited by both bands (he hasn't played much lately) and so got soundly trounced on Saturday in a match that he otherwise would have pretty handily won.

Aren't those Arcadian Avengers a pain?

Thanks for showing and taking the Large Gold. I tested it for a while, and was considering running it, but, I couldn't see a titan band making it to the top 4 so ultimately decided against it.

Bralani is a tech/support unit. Not enough AC or hit points to be a primary combat unit. A warband with 3xBralani will die too quickly.
I'd go with warband-2. The Cleric of Pelor isn't much use to farmers or other activation fodder.

Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything.

I do not like the bralani too much but I sincerelly prefer three bralanies better than golden warbands because It is very risky to play it nowadays with the current metagame (golden stunned during two rounds= autolose). To be honest, the next tournament I,ll go for a dual tigers+ hierophant+ visejaws... It is the strongest warband I have ever seen (easily beaten triple EB and dual drider/stalkers)

Lg gold doesn't reliably win vs swarm and/or mindflayer(s)... Warbands that can eliminate activations also tend to trounce it soundly... 3 bralani isn't going to cut it either. They have neither the dmg nor up and ac for a 40+ of piece... Compare 3 vs 5 whips...

If you're going gold=
