They are going to release downloadable stats (cards), so you need to get the minis elsewhere.
The All-Star figs can be found here:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mi/20071121
The stats will be up for download ain about 3 months.

| | 04/25/2008 6:21 AM | Alert | I would imagine that quite a few players are hanging on to their All Star figures, waiting to see which will be the most popular, and that we'll see a price increase this summer for some of them, and a drop for others.

| | 04/27/2008 6:04 AM | Alert | The all stars are nearly 100% rares (why ???) So it's virtually impossible for WotC to release an all-star set of minis. It would cost too much to make. From a game balence viewpoint, if the all-stars are 10% more cost effective than other minis. Then no one will play anything else. In particular no one will play figures from future sets. So you can take it as aximotic that WotC won't "cut their own throats" commercially. By making the allstars the most cost-effective units. Conversly there is actually some (commercial) sense. To making the allstars well below par in cost-effectiveness. | | Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything. | |

| | 04/27/2008 9:46 AM | Alert | | I know it is a great idea that I held onto most of the figs i did have already. On top of that some of the rares they reprinted are expensive even now to try to get. Harbringer and archfiends figs are even harder to get now then when they we sub-par. | | | |

Dave Yes, that's logical. But the prices won't be that high, since what Xaos said will be legit. I don't think more than few figs will be really playable, the rest will be just okay. I, for myself, have about 7 of the All-Stars (just traded for a Marut).

I just hope the non T1 ones will be okay enough for fun games. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | | 05/04/2008 4:02 AM | Alert | IMO the All Stars will more than likely make a number of the other current figures more playable (ie Wilderness).  Maybe be great counters to the Eternal Blade.Â
IMO we'll have more than a few of the All Stars be playable, but it will only be in certain combinations.Â
Most of the All Stars are high cost and will be immediate targets of attacks, so they better be semi decent.Â
I would love to see All Star cards released by WotC, but like others have said, don't count on it.Â
