It's more of a trick pony...  but can it sustain itself to get to 200pts?

what is the biggest benefit of the statues? Farmers plus support would seem a better match 99% of the time....

I can see one advantage to the statues over the farmers +support, pick a map with central victory areas that your opponent can't get to  on first round,at least not with thier entire band, like hailstorm tower. All your statues get the extra VPs and your opponent probably won't be able to match you.
 Its not much but it is a small advantage, will it be enough to carry the day, I seriously doubt it.
