| I was thinking testing Dread Wraith w/DK, any ideas for other bands? I like DW but he seems to be underpowered... | | Life is... Vindicated AtG shot: Shadow Giant (Death Titan)

| How about something like this?
Death Knight Dread Wraith Raistlin Warhorse Merchant Guard Farmer x5 (or Farmer x3 + Kobold Archer)
The Warhorse offers Raistlin a great mobility, increasing the threat of Sleep. And, if the Sleep works, the Dread Wraith is going to get a critical with the DK's +20, and 60 damage is pretty sweet. (Alternatively, you could go with the Wild Mage instead of Raistlin at the cost of one Farmer--and that would be a fine trade.)
Another option is to put the Merchant Guard on the Warhorse. This gives you a mobile bodyguard platform, which is quite nice.

| If you wanted to avoid the Death Knight and stick to Underdark, you have a lot of fun options. Here are some.
Dread Wraith Large Shadow Dragon Shadow x3 Darkmantle x5 Flooded Ruins
The Shadow is more efficient than many people realize: 15 damage for a 17 point piece is quite nice. And, given the nice synergy with the Large Shadow Dragon, they're doing 25 damage against targets that have been breathed on. The Dread Wraith can be used to pick off targets already hit by the Dragon and/or Shadows so as to keep up its healing. Every 10 that the Dread Wraith heals is the equivalent of 20 as it's Insubstantial. The problem with the Dread Wraith is that it's so easy to hit. So, you use the Dragon's Conceal 11 on the Wraith since it's an obvious target. And, if your opponent chooses not to attack it when it has Conceal, that's just good for you--especially if the Dragon can jump out and leave the little guys as targets.
On Flooded Ruins, you have a lot of great hiding places, and with 5 Darkmantles, you're pretty much guaranteed to block the teleporters (unless, of course, you're facing another band with Darkmantles and you win map...).
Option 2:
Dread Wraith Astral Stalker x2 Boneshard Skeleton x4 Darkmantle x2
The Boneshards serve as a vanguard or a halo for the Dread Wraith. Your opponent will have to deal with exploding Skeletons if he'd going to focus on the Dread Wraith. Meanwhile, the Stalkers sit back and Slow opponents giving the Wraith and his team of undead nice cover fire. Again, Flooded Ruins seems an obvious choice, but, I'd argue that Market Square or King's Road would be better. You want the Astral Stalkers to have lots of hiding places, but you also want them to be able to move forward so that, later in the match, they can engage with their Quick Claws and put a lot of hurt on Slowed or Posioned enemies. Of course, with the Wraith's movement flexibility, the Stalkers should get their Sneak Attack quite often.

Wraith is a very nice and yes Ramses, very good mini, the big problem is dont have immunitie to stun or confused like the new Unhallowed undead.

| Yeah, one of the problems I have with any Titan right now is that things like Confuse and Stun can render you impotent.
The band that took 1st in Bloomington on June 14 had a Large Gold Dragon and 5 Merchant Guards. That's the way to go.

| well, if you have balls of adamantium:
Dreadwraith DK Wulfgar farmer x3
Bloodied= glory in battle att = healed above bloodied... Att drops below bloodied= glory in battle att= healed above bloodied again...
Could be huge... Or could fall flat on yer face.
if it could get one more act I'd play it casually competitive all the time. Heal 10 on most glory in battle att's with the +20 from dk equates to 20 healed with incorp... And with those three beaters you should be able to beat things into the bloodied and dead range quickly enough. | | Rock Bottom Pricing: Arcane Archer 30, Centaur Hero 67, Human Cleric of Bane 25, Gold Champion 34, Death Knight 52, Goblin Blackblade 9, Silentwolf Goblin 7, Orc Raider 10, Dwarf axefighter 9, Healer 9, Thaskor 65, Aspect of Demogorgon 71, Ogre 9, Fire Giant 79, Human Wanderer 7, Drunken Master 18, Barghest 12, Longstider Barbarian 27, Longtooth Barbarian 22, Frost Giant 76, Ravenous Vampire 42, Large Earth Elemental: priceless

"Once you're bloodied, you remain bloodied for the rest of the battle, even if you get healed again?"
Maybe I'm confusing it with the morale saves in 1.0 though.
That's what the wording FIRST bloodied indicates, nevermind...
